let the kid finish the game on a high note and don't repeat what Dave did with Wood. Ross is a kid at his major league debut. he's gone 7 incredible shut out innings. what else does Dave want? he has been missing his location for the last two innings now. his biggest knock in the minors was his control. let him get outta there with his head up high. he is a KID who needs CONFIDENCE. his stuff is proven.

Stripling may be an older prospect but I think Roberts doesn't want to even risk disturbing Stripling's subconscious and focus. It may be unprofessional but I agree with Dave's call just like I have for practically all of his moves so far.

we are practically the opposite of where you were and where I was when you started to question Doc's moves where I was still being an authoritarian follower of his cred.

with Dave tho, there is no past history to follow other than his reputation, you maybe right and I am always prepared to be wrong, but right now, Dave let me down with Alex last night and I hope he doesn't make the same mistake with even less experienced Ross.
