I hold Z accountable for not using James and Isco to start with considering the grueling match the other players had endured just days before.

Bad defense again.... Unbelievable how the marking has gone downhill as well as IQ....

I felt some of my guys got fouled with the regular no calls from the ref but whatever... can someone tell me that penalty that awarded the PK was legit? I missed it live and saw one replay with an angle not selling me on it. So I can't be sure yet one way or another...

Wolfsburg played well and fast... a bad ingredient against that backend...

You'll still thump them by 4 or more at the Bernabeau.

you have a lot more faith than I do right now....

ok... i'll give my hopes up.....

Nice to see Wolfsburg representing the Bundesliga so well in the champions league.

They've been utterly dreadful away from home in the BuLi, and the Benaglio-Naldo-Dante/Knoche triumvirate are a big liability in the heart of their defense...even if they can just sit back and limit how exposed they get with the strong double pivot in midfield shielding them. Sitting back & counter-ing plays to VFL's strengths, so I think they'll get an away goal, but I doubt it'll be enough to hold you off. Even if the pressure of the moment doesn't crack them.

Not really. Real will annihilate Wolfsburg at the Bernabéu. I'm glad they at least made this interesting.

yeah i am going to go with people who establish odds for a living, who put the tie at 50-50 at this point.

FC VW hold the second worst road-record in the BuLi. With the vulnerability at the heart of their defense, you'd have to be really down on Real not to favor the Madristas heavily. Even if VFL scores an away goal, Real should pull through with 4 or more.

Get real.

Wolfsburg is right now middle of the table un BUndesliga.

Assuming La liga and Bundsliga had similar teams in average.

Just check Rm results at Bernabeu vs middle of the pack Liga Teams.

3-0 4-0 5-0 6-0 are the results day in and out.

wolfsburg MAY be able to do it, but odds are that by minute 15 the thing is already tied with a 2-0

if they manage to get to halftime 0-0 they ahve a chance.
