We'll see. But it would be a great series.

I flip flop back and forth over what team i would rather play. I think i'd rather play the Raptors because my gut says we have a better chance of an upset. But on the other hand, Detroit has really played well against Cleveland and we match up better against them on paper.

I fear Toronto more so then Cleveland. That said, playoff lebron is something to fear too.

I wonder if we upset the Raptors, that Toronto sports fans will finally learn to actually win something before talking ****.

Well that's how you shut them down. Just ask: What have you won?

in case any of them try to BS you with a response, the answer is that the raps have won one playoff series in their 20 seasons as a franchise. that was 15 years ago.

they'll likely win a series this year of course.

Like we are in this thread?

If we take either the Cavs or Raps to 6 games then this season will be a massive success.

I see it like this:

If Andre really comes to play and dominates JV and the Raptors' bigs, would could conceivably beat them in a series... maybe a 25% chance.

Even if Andre comes to play and dominates TT and the Cavs' bigs, our odds of beating playoff LeBron and Cleveland are very small... maybe a 5% chance.

So yeah, Toronto, given a choice, although I don't want to be the team to give them their first playoff series win in forever, either. It's a tossup for me, as it's the experience we need, and we'll get it either way.

I'd rather have Cleveland as i think if we can still one early we can get into the heads of that lockeroom. Lebron's going to lebron, however when he does this, Kyrie and Love are glorified role players. I think we'll more likely beat Toronoto, however they are also playing with a chip on their shoulder, which brings me worry.

this is the first round history of lebron-led teams...

2006 cavs vs. wizards: 4-2
2007 cavs vs. wizards: 4-0
2008 cavs vs. wizards: 4-2
2009 cavs vs. pistons: 4-0
2010 cavs vs. bulls: 4-1
2011 heat vs. sixers: 4-1
2012 heat vs. knicks: 4-1
2013 heat vs. bucks: 4-0
2014 heat vs. bobcats: 4-0
2015 cavs vs. celtics: 4-0

so essentially since lebron has hit his prime the best a team has done is take one game off his team. while i think we could take toronto to six games, i have no confidence that a series vs. the cavs would go past five.

They're a bad fit for our roster. They got a strong backcourt so we can't hide Reggie. They got a DEPTH bench, so our second unit is going to be strongly outscored. They got 2 good big man to handle Dre without fouls problems.

We're not going to win any first round, but I think we could do more damage to the Coward Bald and his goofies crew
