I thought Coleman was a 1 inning guy...

one hitter too late but Dave still making the right call of pulling him right now. Donny would be looking like an idiot not knowing what to do here.

Pagan was toast. No way he was gonna drive anything on the outer half.
Coleman comes back over the middle of the plate and we're in trouble.

now the question is, was that Coleman's fault or Austin's?

this game had quite a few pitching calls that were not exactly smart and I wonder if Kaz and Coleman just missed their location or Austin called bad game today.

great.

a weak hit ball turns into runners at the corners for them.

Thanks for giving JP Howell a player's option Ned.

Cannot wait until the filth that he tracked into Dodger blue is gone.

Show me that high K/9 Yimi.

We kinda need to hold them to 8.

Game's over.
We had to get through this 6th pretty clean to win.

Doubt we get 9 more outs and hold them to 9.
Then their pen has to melt down as well.

Like I said to start this thread (or maybe in the other thread).
We need to deal for a lefty in the pen.
Him and Avilan, regardless of health, aren't good enough.

Not mad at Coleman.
But Howell pisses me off every time we trot him out there against lefties like he's actually about to do something.

This is an opportunity for our boys to show their mettle. Our opponents don't quit, so I'd like to see us match their intensity and approach. Our pitching has been deflating but the Giants have come back on us in 3 of the 4 games in this series, so it can be done. The question is if it can be done by the Dodgers. I have more faith in Roberts' leadership that we can do this than under Mattingly's. It's also an early-season test for us to build upon, regardless.

LMAO Carlos Santana.

Can you believe that some Friedman haters are using players like Kershaw to say Ned did a good job???
Like he had anything to do with scouting him and making the tough decision to pick him over Lincecum.

Nice way to take advantage of that break on the double play.
