this game had quite a few pitching calls that were not exactly smart and I wonder if Kaz and Coleman just missed their location or Austin called bad game today.

Like I said to start this thread (or maybe in the other thread).
We need to deal for a lefty in the pen.
Him and Avilan, regardless of health, aren't good enough.

Not mad at Coleman.
But Howell pisses me off every time we trot him out there against lefties like he's actually about to do something.

This is an opportunity for our boys to show their mettle. Our opponents don't quit, so I'd like to see us match their intensity and approach. Our pitching has been deflating but the Giants have come back on us in 3 of the 4 games in this series, so it can be done. The question is if it can be done by the Dodgers. I have more faith in Roberts' leadership that we can do this than under Mattingly's. It's also an early-season test for us to build upon, regardless.
