Griffin better save every last cent he makes in Cleveland. This will be his last hurrah.

Re: Market growing for Robert Griffin III
Now that Cleveland has RG knee, someone will make a deal with them to move up and get a QB. Browns could use all the picks they need, that's for sure. Or do they still take either Wentz or Goff in case RG knee doesn't work out?

Word is they're still high on Wentz and signing RGIII doesn't change that at all. All logic says they should take a QB. They are the Browns though and logic doesn't always play into their decisions. Whoever they take is almost guaranteed to suck though. Since this Browns franchise has been in existence they have probably screwed up more high 1st round picks than any team in the league.

I can see at least 4 or 5 teams that will try and move up and offer them much needed picks.

No reason to believe we'll take a QB at 4.
There is far too much talent available for us at other positions for us to even consider it.

Maybe someone makes a deal with the Titans. Hell, they already have their QB for a long time and they definitely could use all the extra picks they can get. I just want both Wentz and Goff gone before we pick along with Ramsey.

There's plenty of reason to believe they'll take a QB at 4. Of course there's also plenty of reason to believe they won't. There are really good legit reason for both sides of that argument. There are so many holes on this team and so many different ways they could go no one really knows for sure who they will draft.

I just don't see Jerry being willing to do that (QB) at #4. It's so far away from his DNA that I dismiss it.
Of course - trying to understand Jerry is akin to trying to succeed as a QB in Cleveland. Pretty far fetched.

What also scares me is most is most of these new and updated mock drafts have us taking Bosa over Buckner. Am I the only one here that thinks Buckner is Better than Bosa? Or am I just blind to something? I can really see this kid being here for many years and a possible hall of famer.

I like Buckner much more than Bosa. He's bigger, stronger, has more upside, and is more versatile. Bucket can player the 1 or 3-tech. He can also play DE in a 4-3. Bosa is strictly and edge rusher, and not even an elite edge rusher. If the Cowboys were to take an edge rusher I would much prefer it be Buckner over Bosa.

Yes, but I can also see the reasoning behind making teams think we want a QB. That's the only way we get a good deal and extra much needed draft picks. Now that RGknee is in Cleveland, will it be the 49ers or Rams?

I'm sure what picks the Niners have but the deal would have to be better than the Rams two 2nd round picks.

So are you thinking what I am thinking? We swap first round picks with the Rams for their two 2nd round picks. That would give us 3 second round picks, hummmm.

Yup that's exactly what I'm thinking. The Cowboys could be in position to draft two DL, a QB, and a RB within the 1st two rounds.
Shaq Lawson, Billings, Cook, and Kenneth Dixon would be a good haul for the first two rounds.

If we were to get that type of offer and trade back, I like your other idea better. Darren Lee, hopefully Billings, Dixon and a shut down corner with those 3 number 2 picks.

Even if we were drafting heavy on defense I this think they need to draft a backup QB. I do not trust Romo's health or Kellen Moore.

WE have 4 comp picks in the 6th round for that.

Drafting a QB in the 6th round is a total waist of a pick. You have a better chance of hitting on a LB, OL, RB, or DL in the 6th than you do a QB. A QB needs to be drafted in the first 3 rounds.

Re: Market growing for Robert Griffin III
Drafting a QB in this year's draft is a total wasted pick imho. Doesn't matter what round.
