Magic 34-46

Apr 11 Mil W
Apr 13 @Char L

...final record: 35-47

Bucks 33-47

Apr 11 @Orl L
Apr 13 Ind L

..final record: 33-49

Sacramento 32-48

Apr 11 @Pho W
Apr 13 @Hou L

...final record: 33-49

Denver 33-48

Apr 13 @Port L

..final record: 33-49

Knicks 32-49

Apr 12 @Ind L

..final record 32-50

With a Denver loss to Portland and a Milwaukee win in either games - we are guaranteed the 9th pick.

With a Denver loss to Portland, Milwaukee loses both games, SAC loses both games, there will be a two way tie for 10th and 9th between Denver and Milwaukee and a coin toss will determine selections.

With a Denver loss to Portland, Milwaukee loses both games, SAC wins one of their games, there will be a 3 way tie for 8.9.10 and coin tosses will determine the selections.

With a Denver loss to Portland, Milwaukee win in either games, SAC wins one of their games, there will be a two way tie for 8th and 9th between Denver and Sac.

If Denver wins against Portland and ORL loses both games, then that would mean Milwaukee would get one win (assuming they dont win against Indy), there would be a 3 way tie for 11,10,9.

If Denver wins against Portland and Milwaukee loses both their games, we will get the 10th pick (assuming SAC doesn't win both games, otherwise, it would be a two way tie and a coin toss will determine 10th and 9th).

I'd be happy with 9th. There should be some interesting talent there. Plus, who knows, maybe we'll move up! Maybe Denver and New York will both move into the top 3 and we'll be picking there! Or maybe Denver moves up and we are then picking 8th. A lot can happen haha.

At 9-12 we'll have a chance to draft one of OG, Skal, Davis, Rabb or Prince, and as long as we take one of those guys (unless someone drops) I'd view this draft as a major success. Getting any one of those guys for the sack of crap that is Andrea Bargnani is magical :wizard:

I wonder... With there seeming to be some friction between the Bulls and Butler, if we could pull a trade for our pick + Ross and a future 2nd round pick for their 14th pick and filler. It would allow them to have a replacement for Butler if they decide to trade him and someone who can fit into their system.

So is 8th a possibility still? I like 8. I like 8 better than 9-10 lol. 8 is high enough where you might get the person who falls out of the top 5 late for some reason. Similar to the Ross drummond situation.

Yeah 8th is a position to get a steal because of someone falling.
Simmons Ingram are guaranteed 1/2 and Bender is not getting past 5 but at 8 you could get Murray, Heild, Dunn, Brown if someone like Ellenson, Poeltl or Rabb move up

I'd just take Demetrius Jackson and go with the safe easy pick.

The Raptors have draft 7th twice in franchise history. Damon Stoudamire and Charlie Villanueva. Ehhh
The Raptors have draft 8th twice in franchise history. Rafael Araujo and Terrence Ross. Ehhh
The Raptors have drafted 9th twice in franchise history. Tracy McGrady and DeMar DeRozan.

Based on that...

obviously I still want to draft as high as possible! No such thing as history repeating itself. Let`s draft the future of this franchise!!!

Yep OFC it will come down to the last 2 games for Kings + Bucks ...Portland needs to come up Clutch on Wednesday vs the Nuggets.

If Kings Beat the Suns and the Rockets and the Nuggets lose we are in 8th Same with the Bucks who need to beat the Magic and the Pacers.

But anything can really happen to change the position from 8-10 for us ...The main thing would be for the Nuggets to lose to portland then at best we will be in a tie for 8th with the Kings which im hoping happens. coin flip again and hope we win it this time.

We're currently sitting in the 9th spot and I'm hoping we don't fall further again. So here are all 9th overall picks over the past 20 years.

95 – Ed O’Bannon
96 – Samaki Walker (Kobe and Nash were both drafted in the teens.)
97 – Tracy McGrady
98 - Dirk Nowitzki
99 - Shawn Marion
00 – Joel Przybilla (This was one of the weakest drafts in history.)
01 – Rodney White
02 – Amar’e Stoudamire
03 – Mike Sweetney
04 – Andre Iguodala
05 – Ike Diogu
06 – Patrick O’Bryant
07 – Joakim Noah
08 – D.J. Augustin
09 – DeMar DeRozan
10 – Gordan Haywood
11 – Kemba Walker
12 – Andre Drummond
13 – Trey Burke
14 – Noah Vonleh
15 – Justise Winslow
