A Bucks win tonight would be huge. Both Bucks and ORL coming off a back to back.

We need the best two way player available. Those are the guys that Casey will actually want to play and like it or not, this is his team.

That's why I think a guy like Luwawu is definitely in play. I just have a feeling he would be ranked higher than any of the bigs in this draft by Masai and his staff. Euro guy, 2 way player, has great skill. Then again, what do I know?

I was wondering what people thought of Chris Boucher. He has a good size at 6-10, blocked 3.1 shots last year and can shoot threes at 36%. He is also from Montreal, and looked solid during the NCAA tournament. I didn't watch a ton of Oregon's games, but curious what other people see.

He was a former JUCO player of the year. At 23 and fairly underweight, I think he could go undrafted (similar to Mike Kyser last year), but he has the magic combination of threes and blocks that could make him draftworthy. This guy is my personal sleeper pick up if we get a second.

I wouldn't be surprised if he does go undrafted that ends up on the 905.

I forgot to mention his difficult upbringing. He grew up with a lot of crime around him and was quite poor. He actually took up basketball quite late in life and it was something he did on his own. He also went to a two junior colleges before ending up in Oregon. I think Masai loves stories about people with a work ethic and talent overcoming challenges. Again, this guy is way under the radar, but if he declares for the draft I think he gets selected.

He has this sort of untapped potential, even at age 23.

That's a dangerous way of looking at things. Especially when evaluating prospects.

You need both. I'm not big on acquiring players that can't defend (I'm not suggesting DJ can't). I think you draft players that are capable defenders with the highest offensive potential.

Fit is another big concern. If you are trying to be a top defensive team, don't bring in players that don't fit that mold. It just messes up chemistry.

I am so glad guys like Bargs, Calderón, Vasquez & Lou Will are gone.

Based on that...

obviously I still want to draft as high as possible! No such thing as history repeating itself. Let`s draft the future of this franchise!!!

We already did.

His name is Norman Powell :D
Interviewer: Championship #2?
Ujiri: Hey...We're gonna get it. I don't know when it'll be, but we're gonna get it. Just like I said we'll get the first one and I said I didn't know when we'd get it...But we will. Guarantee you we will.

Was this Chris Boucher's last season? I thought he was going back for another?

This looks like a deep draft on forwards which is just what the team needs.

As long as it's not a huge medical red flag or something of that nature, you scoop and don't look back... Especially on our team where he won't be asked right away to be the primary guy, this way he can take a season or two to develop a more reliable shot

Stupid Bucks look like they'll lose to the Magic. Terrible. What a bunch of scrubs (they aren't, but I'm just being bitter right now).

I would say he and Rabb would be hoped for by the Raps at say 9. He is not the superlative athlete like a McGrady because he is so lanky. Once he beefs up look out. The guy is 20 so could also still be growing or, put another way, he is .5 of an inch off each hand from having a full 7 foot wingspan at 6'7. He has length, some hops, plays good defence and shoots the long ball. Who besides Rabb is Ujiri going to pick at 9?

Bucks lost. Guaranteed no worse than the 10th pick (pre lotto).

Return to Toronto Raptors
