According to Phil, there is no player who is a bad fit for the Triangle. The only thing that will eliminate his effectiveness in the system is assimilate to it's principles.

So the question is what players (FA) out there are best for the Triangle? The only one that comes to mind is Baum.

agreed for the most part.

I do think Rondo would be a disaster in the triangle. He is extremely ball dominant and really just knows how to operate without the ball in his hands. Him dumping it down to a big and doing off ball action with his inability to shoot would be a complete disaster.

Our guards have to have the least amount of usage % in the league because of the offense we run.

I would say 90% plus players could fit into this system. There are the outliers like ball dominant guards, guys who don't play team basketball, and bigs that can't pass will struggle on the offensive end in this system.

I can't believe that we're going into the offseason with a near team rebuild again. At least this offseason we have a clear focus (guards).

I don't think a rebuild is happening. Unless you count Afflalo and Seraphin as core pieces.

Phil will probably inquire but won't break the bank for him. Pau will want to win sooner rather than later and will have better options.

It really only eliminates Rondo which is good news.

Sign Bazemore for 4/60 and Jennings for 1/10. Bring back LT and Gallo on the cheap. Hope that D-Will opts in (so we can get his early bird rights), and Afflalo opts out. Just let Jose expire after next season and get him officially off our books. Keep a max slot open for Westbrook in 2017 (his max will start at a little over 32 mil/yr).

Bench: LT, Gallo, Grant, KOQ, D-Will (resigned with early bird rights in 2017), Willy, 2017 pick

We're totally rebuilding our squad though. I don't mean rebuild as in scrap everything and tank, but just that as of July we don't have half of a basketball team again.

I hope they go after Joakim Noah. He's a NY guy and hopefully he is willing to be the first big off the bench. The Bulls were missing him badly this season.

I could roll with Bazemore! But didn't he say something recently that basically said no about the Knicks?
