I agree with Pau but he's already a champion and you can't really hate on champions even if it's Rondo. Those guys won. They're done, they've proven themselves. It's the organization that put them in place to give volume stats. When it comes to Greg Monroe, Kevin Love, or Melo, it's different. Those guys haven't proven ANYTHING and they get their volume ball touches. I think Greg is just playing his old school game without defense. Love is probably worse considering he can shoot so well and used to rebound the ball a whole lot. Melo I'm sick and tired of because he literally hasn't gotten ANYWHERE in the league and he gets treated like a star. Personally I think he's very overrated and I'd probably put him next to Thaddeus Young in production. I don't really care how good you look dribbling the ball around and shooting. If you're in the NBA, you get treated and called a Star, you should be getting into the Playoffs. Granted New York is a horrible organization, the guy simply has done nothing to deserve any of this treatment. It's kind of mindblowing considering it's the Madison Square Garden and players don't go there as free agents. It doesn't make any sense to me. I'm thinking it's front office always tying itself into big contracts like Stoudemire. Doesn't make sense. Almost as bad as Pheonix paying Chandler that fat contract last offseason.

Rondo currently is an empty stats guy. He gets lots of assists and is good at rebounding for his size, but his defensive effort has dropped off substantially since his Boston glory days, and he can't shoot. Add in his lousy attitude and he's an empty stats poster boy.

I think Melo gets a little bit of a bad rap. The Knicks stink, but they're better than they were last year when he was out for most of the season. Surround him with complementary pieces or put him on a good team and I think he can contribute in a positive way.

Melo with veteran leadership (Kidd, Billups, LOL maybe AI) is a beast and can be a primary contributor to a playoff run.

AKA, his Denver days when he made the playoffs over Lebron in their first year. Nuggets during the year prior Melo came, had 17 wins total. He's capable of doing it, but he's had his misses and bad luck during the years too. Add in the fact that the Knicks are a cancerous organization even with Phil, it's a charade.

My nomination is probably Love as the king of empty stats. The guy just isn't a great team player.

im not sure any one will agree with me but westbrook. he has a cancer attitude and i really dont think hes ever going to win anything as his own player. he'll need a superstar so he can be their wingman and hes a stat padder

2015-16: Porzingis, ????, ???, ????, ????
2014-15: Shane Larkin, Iman Shumpert, Amar’e Stoudemire, Samuel Dalembert
2013-14: Raymond Felton, Iman Shumpert, Pablo Prigioni, Tyson Chandler
2012-13: Jason Kidd, Raymond Felton, Ronnie Brewer, Tyson Chandler
2011-12: Toney Douglas, Landry Fields, Amar’e Stoudemire,Tyson Chandler
2010-11: Chauncey Billups, Landry Fields, Amar’e Stoudemire, Ronny Turiaf

When you demand a max deal and pretty much say that you resigned with your same team for MORE money then you have to expect the team won't have as much to spend on bringing in star power. He's done this to himself. Plus, his refusal to play any sort of defense (almost James Harden bad) is not gonna make other good players flock to play along side him. He's a loser.
