20/15 assists...

47/47 for the year

would've been the perfect backup... just saying.

Shabazz Napier. :noway:

Obviously, Seth Curry has been putting in a great deal of work on his game and probably working out with his brother. Good for him. He wasn't nearly this good last summer.

no way he's improved THAT much during the season. It's all about opportunity and confidence. But yeah, not losing sleep over it. He would be a nice pickup though.

This. I mean I am not sure Skiles would let him see a good amount of minutes a game.

Nope. Karl said Curry would be in the NBA for "a couple of years," as a weird compliment and people decided to make it a story.

His shooting percentages these last 10 games with big minutes have been impressive. Didn't think he had it in him at this level. Clearly better than Napier. Is Curry mostly playing PG or SG? And how has his defense been?

Saw this on the GB

Last 10 games
28.8min 15.7ppg .519fg% 3.7ast

Last 5 games
31.2min 16.8ppg .544fg%(.552 from 3s) 5.8ast

Last game
20pts and 15ast

I was really hoping Rob would've signed him to the roster. Oh well...

The same with Ish Smith as well. Better player than Napier.

One of those times where you can say... Yup, I would've made a decision better than our GM. Loved Seth and loved hyping him up in the DLeague thread. ....wasn't that sticked before?

Terrible decision to let him go. Better than Napier AND Watson. He was KILLIN' it for the BayHawks. Marking this down as one of Henny's mistakes.

We better not let go of Tyler Harvey. He needs to be with the Magic next year.

The thing is you probably don't want guys like Ish Smith and Seth Curry starting.... so the question is how do they perform off the bench in limited minutes. There are plenty of guys who could produce if given big minutes and a decent amount of shots on a losing team, but if you ask them to be a bench player their stats fall way off and they look like crap. We don't need bench guys like that. Unfortunately, it seems Watson forgot how to be a bench player.

If Harvey can't shoot in the d-league what makes you think he can shoot in the NBA?

Napier sucks, but Ish is not good either. He's very quick and can pass using that speed, but he is chucker playing big minutes on a bad team... averaging less than a point per shot is beyond bad for a starter. And we've seen what he looks like off the bench... not good.

OK, you made me look up recent stats. He was doing better than that throughout the year. I think he is a gifted 3pt shooter. Maybe if he focuses on that in the pros, and doesn't try to do more like he does in the D League, then he can do what we need off the bench.

Seth was way better than Harvey though.

Well I haven't watched Harvey in the DL except for that one highlight video where he went off from 3... but it seems to me he is focusing on 3s in that league with over six 3pt attempts per game and well over eight 3pt attempts per36... just isn't very good at this point. I actually wanted Harvey to make the roster prior to the season so it's a little disappointing that he's struggling with his shot in a league where it's pretty easy for scorers to score.
