We're called Hand over Heart Clothing Co. and the company is really about pushing yourself forward and becoming the greatest version of yourself. Every person has something they're passionate about and we want to connect people no matter their background or what their interests are with this singular goal; which is to just push yourself and do the things you love to do and the things you dream of. The logo is in reference to that connection or unity you feel between your mind/spirit with your body when you place your hand over your heart. I actually first thought of the idea at a Lakers vs Wizards game a couple years ago during the national anthem and since then we've expanded on the idea.
Anyways I'm grateful to have this place to talk basketball and I'm grateful to have grown up a Lakers fan and a Kobe fan. Nick Van Exel was my favorite player when I was younger, but watching Kobe for 20 years and reading about his legendary training regimen has been such an inspiration that he's definitely earned that top spot for me. So one shirt we've created is a thank you to Kobe for everything he's done for the Lakers and basketball. I was able to see Kobe play one last time last weekend vs Boston and got a couple shots of our shirt at Staples Center.
