Re: The Stephen Curry Thread (2015-16 Pt. 1)
He's got the arbitrary 30 ppg / 50/40/90, and the warriors only need to hit 5 three's in garbage time to tie the record and 6 to break it.
I came here to do two things: get lost and slice **** up & I'm all out of directions.

Can we get two 50 point games tonight?
But in his home dwelling...the hi-top faded warrior is revered. *Smack!* The sound of his palm blocking the basketball... the sound of thousands rising, roaring... the sound of "get that sugar honey iced tea outta here!"

Re: The Stephen Curry Thread (2015-16 Pt. 1)
ok assuming he's out now...
401 3s, 30 PPG and a 50/40/90 season... what a way to cap it off, steph.
Can't wait for the playoffs!

I can't believe Steph did it. Last week I said he was likely going to lose all his records (the only one he lost was the PER one)

Amazing thing about this is they did it after having won the title last year. You would think maybe they had lost last year with them coming out like this this season.

The highest PPG for any player in 50/40/90 club, record in 3PM, leader in PTS (and the lowest MPG among any player in history with at least 30 PPG), STL and FT%. And that's "nothing" in comparison to his biggest regulars season achievement: 73-9. GOAT RS?

what's his current PER after 82 games?

According to your logic, Tim Duncan doesn't deserve any respect.

31.56. Goes down as the 8th highest of all time, with only Wilt, MJ and Lebron having had better marks.

31.56 w/ 400+ 3's, 30 PPG on absurd %TS and 50/40/90 plus the 73 wins...this might go down as best peak all time (i'll still wait for the PS though)

Re: The Stephen Curry Thread (2015-16 Pt. 1)
It's a minute point compared to everything else he has achieved this year, but I just noticed that Steph ended up with the highest FT% this year. Jamal Crawford was ahead for most of the year but missed 5 of 17 free throws in his final 2 games while Steph was perfect on his final 25. Steph finishes at 90.8% to Crawford's 90.4%. This is Steph's 3rd time leading the league in FT%.

Re: The Stephen Curry Thread (2015-16 Pt. 1)
Pretty damned impressive. Markers, milestones and records all over and a brilliant finish to the season. Was hoping he'd go off for 41 to grab the 30 ppg mark and then he did that. ~ 12 3PA/g at > 45% is also insane. 30 ppg on a 50/40/90, insane.
This has been an absurdly awesome regular season.

A team that plays free-flowing, exciting, gorgeous basketball with perhaps the most likeable star since Magic's Lakers, combined with the throat-stomping dominance of Jordan's Bulls. The perfect union of fun and greatness.
This is the pinnacle of sport.

Give me a reason why Curry couldn't hit 500 3's in a season if he tried?
