It's a reasonable call.

For me Whiteside was dominant in the first and then didn't play during our collapse and Winslow had a pretty good game throughout.
I remember when the Dolphins were perennial contenders

This game showed that we don't have what it takes. This was basically our playoff game: fighting for homecourt advantage and seeding ... And we lost despite having a 26 point lead.

Yet we got both HA and seed 3.

And we built a 26pt lead.

We just switched off in the second half.

No thanks to our play. It was because Wiz won.

Well they came out strong. And maybe dead legs did prevail in the second half (road b2b, 2am airport arrival, etc) but it's still disappointing that we went away from what was working in the first half and our perimeter players acted like a deer in headlights when they got doubled off the screen. Can't have meltdowns like that but seek to face cleveland, by way of Toronto.

If last night's first half is the team that will be in the playoffs, we might actually win the nba title. But if it's just the mean of both halves from last night, we'll sneak out the first round to get smashed by toronto in the second.
