We certainly did go as far as Wade took us in this game.

I gotta disagree though, this is no longer all about Dwyane any longer. We've been doing well since ASG because we move the ball, play faster tempo and get everybody involved. This is now team ball!

Let me just remind cats though.....i named MY SON after Wade. My 1st BORN SON!! lol. I even made a website titled DWAD3FinalChapter (w/ is momentarily down but the FB page has been up & running). This Wade hate stuff has been blown way out of proportion. I'm one of the biggest Wade fans on this damn board - wich is the exact reason why i can criticize him! I'm no blind homer (although my betting would indicate otherwise  ).

I legit laugh every time someone says you don't like Wade or you're a wade hater or are not a heat fan or whatever. I'll never forget when you shocked us with the news that you named your first born after him.

It's quite preposterous really. How anybody could think someone would end up hating somebody you named your seed after is beyond me. It's like tattooing Stevie Wonder on your arm and then hating him later on. You can't erase that tattoo so the decision was quite important.

People need to relearn that criticism does not always equate to hate.

I gotta give it up for Brad Stevens & the Celtics. That team has tremendous heart. I absolutely hate them but have alot of respect for them. I hope they make 2nd round vs Cavs & give them a run for their money.

I'm putting this down to coaching.

3rd we didn't attack in the paint we just put up long shots. We removed Whiteside who was the destroyer and played McBob.

Spo was playing mindgames with Stevens ;-)

The commentators were emphasizing it the entire 2nd half how we've moved away from attacking the paint that made us so successful in the 1st half to settling for jump shot after the other, settling for 3's after the other - They were extremely confused throughout that 3rd Q.

We played so horribly, especially compared to how well we played the 1st half, that one can't help but think did we coast and tank that 2nd half! Or are we just that terrible when teams fight back from huge double digit leads?!

I think Spo had decided that Amare was getting rest. He should've been in to replace Hassan and keep pounding them inside. Obviously JRich lost his shot and who would've thought that could be so important. Goes to show how we really need someone to knock down the 3. We've been spoilt in our recent wins with JRich, Deng and JJ hitting threes (and Green). I'm hoping that we never use McRoberts in the playoffs. I love his passes but he's more useless than present day UD or golden day Joel on the offense. Teams just let him shoot.

I hate us having a big lead because we lose focus and go conservative. I'll settle for a 10 point lead from start to finish.

Spoiler:
I don't know how to make the font green

This was just brilliant strategy by Spo. At halftime he decided to use his time machine instead of speaking to his team. While Spo went to the time machine, the team was busy watching Rachel Bush's snapchat. Now, Spo's inention with the time machine was to go a couple weeks into the future, which he did, and saw that the HEat got swept by Boston and Riley sidled up to Brad Stevens and made him an offer he couldn't refuse. Spoelstra was forced to resign because his legs were broken by some suspicious mafia looking characters who came to break them again while he was in the hospital. Speolstra then checked the scores and saw that Atlanta lost that night and he could've avoided Boston, so he decided to go back to before the game and keep it closer so that it didn't look so bad, but there was a glitch because Dorel Wright brought him a flux capacitor from China, and Spoelstra ended up traveling about forty some years into the past, where he told everybody his name was Calvin Klein and he almost slept with his mother becoming his own father. He somehow located a young Andy Elisberg, who did some calculations and helped him return to the game, but only just at the end of halftime because if he didn't, this post never would have existed...

This was a Goat move by Mcbob. He knew the Celts have a bunch of 2nd round picks and didn't want to go to Boston.

wow. just a disapointing loss that ended up helping us in the long run. celtics clearly started packing the paint and pressuring on the perimiter in the 2nd half and we went into hero mode. i cant remember how many times this season we have blown a 15 point lead, its disgusting. charlotte will get some confidence just from knowing miami cant hold a lead. And csroberts is just frustrating to watch. wright cant be any worse, at least he would provide some spacing.

We didn't settle for 3's. They turned up the on ball pressure, our guards couldn't get past their man and penetrate. When they did they were doubled and as a result we couldn't break down the D or get any penetration.

If the open man had hit something, anything from the outside it might have opened things up a bit. Alas... It didn't happen.

We did settle.

Several times we took an early shot from the perimeter. We stopped moving the ball - even when our guards fail to penetrate we can still move the ball.

Agree on your final point.

You can't convince me that we lost a 26 point lead in a game we actually wanted to win. If we lost and the hornets won we were the 6th seed as long as Atlanta won and the Hornets were smacking the magic. We liked our matchup with Atlanta but Atlanta didn't so they lost. Now we have the Hornets.

This choke job is now in the books but it really no longer matters, we now have to concentrate on the playoffs.

Return to Miami Heat
