Who do we get, Goff or Wentz?

We just had the greatest send off, with KOBE leaving town droppin 60.

LA is now looking for a new Sports Star to enter Hollywood!

Rumor is...it will be Goff.

Haven't seen either play all that much, but my gut says Wentz will be the better player. QB's with small hands (Goff) don't translate well. Actually, not a fan of either one. Don't get the trade from the Rams perspective. This is not the year to trade up to take a QB. Foolish imo.

They said that in college, talent wise, their was not that much of a different between Manning and Leaf, but personality wise, their was a huge difference. Payton was a leader and loved by all his teammates. Leaf was not even a captain on his team and attitude issues with his teammates.

It seems like likability plays a huge role with your success in a team

I don't know anything about Goff or Wentz. Are their any teammate problems during their years in college?

I didn't get to see Wentz play but I did watch a lot of Goff and I'm not completely sold on him. As Cactus Jack already mentioned, the small hands concern me as well. As prolific as he's been at Cal, he didn't really separate himself from the rest of the QB pack last season like he was supposed to. Honestly I think it's a toss up between either one as to who is the better choice. I don't think Kroenke cares whether they select a franchise QB or not, he just wants to sell tickets which is why Les Snead & Jeff Fisher were probably forced to make this trade. Unless, maybe they think one of them is truly an elite prospect and worth betting the farm on.

Some old timers around here in LA, were actually whispering about the second coming of James Harris. But I guess that's out of the question now.

Unlike many of the top picks none have character problems or an ego. Goff is compared to Matt Ryan. Wentz is compared to Alex Smith. Possibly good to very good quarterbacks, but not stars. Wentz has injury problems and Goff is from California. Goff should be the obvious choice.
