Brooks is not Wittman, But brooks has flaws, If you brought in brooks and Dantoni and kind of had both of them in charge. they cover each others flaws pretty well.

Most of us would have loved something like this in OKC. Or a guy like Gentry, whoever can run an offense.

So what about Mark Jackson is so bad? Plus if he coaching we don't have to hear him with Van Gundy when we WATCH games.

Picking Brooks looks for me like desperation move to try to get KD. Personally would like to see Thibs in hiring conversation but it looks like a pipe dream
Please don`t bring here Hornacek this guy is clueless as a coach with no charisma

He probably meant Reggie Jackson.

I dont remember much about Jackson other than being unimpressed with his coaching during the playoffs. Once again it appears that we are not interviewing multiple candidates like other teams, we have already fixiated on Jackson so Jackon will get whatever he wants.

When we can expect new coach in Washington? Is it matter of few days to hire someone or will it take longer ex. after play-offs?

Within the week I suspect....

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

Any other of Durant's former coaches and friends the Wizards can hire?

What a simple minded lot.

He's a dumb coach with no vision or imagination and misused several of his best players in GS plus he's a paranoid **** that fostered a contentious, toxic culture there.

I'm hoping Brooks holds out for the more attractive jobs. I'd love to see him run away from the Wiz for Houston after they get swept or go for the Lakers if Scott is let go.

Truly Embarrassing, when the Wizards want something, it's that one thing (Vesely, Brooks) and everyone knows it. Would EG's head explode if he actually interviewed several candidates as-opposed to fixating on one?

Well, any time you can sign a real MVP, you gotta jump on it.

Gotta love the Wizards making Brooks a "priority" after interviewing precisely zero candidates. This management group is full of unwarranted certainty.

He was excellent with player development and getting guys to buy in. Loyal to his players and always had the team playing hard, they never quit. He had a team with a bunch of 10 day contracts last season hanging in tight games because they defended well and were rarely outworked. His offense was unimaginative but if you've got talent offensively on the roster it isn't an issue. I didn't like the firing then and still don't though I know most here disagree.

Are therein lies the problem. We have no offensive talent!!! Our "shooting guard" can't shoot a lick inside the 3pt line. :banghead:

 That could be an issue. Though as someone else said if you bring in an offensive assistant it could work really well.
