Provided first six picks are:

Simmons
Ingram
Bender
Murray
Hield
Dunn

Hypothetically we can't find a value trade to trade out or down and we know we don't have the Washington pick to take a PF, who do you go for?

Might as well plan for the worst.

Sabonis or Chriss. In this case we suck next year as well (unless we get Cousins for free, which is not happening), but get better by the return of Bledsoe and TJ (and the development of Book).
This would really suck though.

I'm prepared for anything, and this is the worst time when there are very few new threads, and this is a different take, and people argue a lot over those first six (although I guess I left out Brown, who was high on a previous poll, but in this case, a PF would be somewhat imperative and if it was close, I'd think we go PF instead of SF).

But would you REALLY like to have Hield or Murray over Chriss or Sabonis in this instance anyway? Talk about logjam.

I would go with Brown and let Tucker as the starting PF, with TJ as a backup 3 and 4.

Tucker improved his post game well enough. And Brown is actually good enough running fast breaks, so PJ would not be doing that anymore, thanks God

I would go with Rabb. Heck I might go with him at 4. You take best player available when they are projected be much better then your need player. We need a good rebounding, high IQ power forward with nice mid range game that is what Rabb is going to be. With Washingtons pick I would look for someone like Luwawu or Chriss to see how he develops but Rabb is my target right now.
Just say no to idiots!!

I would go with Luwawu. All around player who can defend probably four positions.

I would go with Brown if he impress me enough in his workout / interview...but on paper Luwawu would be my choice with all those six players out of the equation.

OK. Who are your top 7 in order? We know the Suns can get one of these players. For me, its a bit toward the end but here goes.

Ingram
Simmons
Hield
Dunn
Murray
Labisierre
Chriss

No, I did not forget about Bender. I just think he is overrated. Labisierre is a huge risk, but has huge upside, same with Chriss. Might as well go for it with the 6-7 pick.

Brown chriss or poeltl.
I think Chriss and Brown have huge potential but of course have more questions than the higher ups.

This is a bit outlandish.
No team has ever moved up from 13.
We're also talking 2 other teams, higher than the 4th worst record, aside from Washington, moving into the top 3.

I get there's not going to be much to talk about this summer, but the chance of ALL of that happening is way too far fetched.

If it did, however, wouldn't that just be our luck? It would be quite the setback.

If it does, we should just wear black all the time and change the name to the Phoenix Curse.

Unless I am wrong - the only way the Suns pick 7 is if the Lakers pick 5, the Celtics 6 and the Sixers original pick becomes 4. So that means three teams, including the Wiz all hit the ping pong balls right to bump the Suns THREE spots. So, that might be worth it for the Lakers to go from 2 to 5 and shift that pick to the Sixers. But not really

In that case - you take BPA - maybe Ellenson as a stretch four if he is there.

My guess in this scenario is Philly takes two guards and leaves one of Murray or Hield there, who Boston probably takes. Only have IT for one more year and need shooting.

The Suns might take the same player at 7 that they would take at 3 or 4. After the first two picks, anything can happen.

If the Wizards jump into the top three then we are doomed as a franchise. Period. No back up plan just intensive therapy :D
