For some of us it's like a double orgasm when that happens...

Just so you know, most Yankee fans don't feel that way. They could honestly care less what happens with the Mets.

I guess it's just a Mets thing.. :dontknow:

  Maybe a few, but the vast majority couldn't give a ****.

The Yanks have owned the Mets for so long that the Yankees losing means more to the Mets fans than vice versa.

  Look at the Yankee thread on the Mets board for proof. It's the biggest thread on that forum. :o Majorleads, for one, I believe enjoys the Yankees losing more than he enjoys the Mets winning.

It's not so much the losing it's HOW they're losing which makes it all that much more special.

Oh trust ....ever since the Mets got good...its kills Yankee fans to see them winning.

Ex. Mike Francessa. It is killing him inside.

On the contrary -- it would kill to see them win a championship. Honest to God -- win all the games you want as long as the Statue of Beltran shows up in October again I'll be fine.

As for Fatcessa -- he has no credibility atleast with me. The dude talked about Hughes and Clippard like they were the next coming of Christ and as soon as Humber or Pelfrey comes up in conversation he immediately bashes them. Unless you're John Sterling, you are supposed to go unbiased especially with a nationally syndicated program.

I mean... 9-4, with a 2.74 ERA.. 84 Ks.. .. 6-1 on the road..

15/17 starts 3 ER or less.. Or his 12/17 starts with 2 ER or less.. God this guy doesnt have a plus fastball or a good offspeed pitch but that baffles me as much as his slider baffles his opponents.... man.. I mean how can this guy be so good with only a fastball? I mean... Damn...He has to be cheating.

He doesn't have a good slider or changeup... they play off his very good fastball. He's all fastball, and he walks alot of guys. It just goes to show you how pathetic the NL is when El Duque and Maine both have ERA's in the 2.80s.

He doesnt have a good slider?
Aahahahahaha, have you watched John Maine since the mid may?
Wow.. your hate is so obvious it's not even funny.

Good job. not giving Maine or El Duque props at all.

And to show you know NOTHING about John Maine and you pull info from your rabbit ass, he has only walked 4 batters in his last 33 innings.

thank you very much.

El Duque and John Maine are both good pitchers, but they are not 2.80 ERA guys. More like 4.00 ERA guys.

They'll both have a correction soon.

Weren't they supposed to come back to earth a month ago according to you?

STFU and just accept you know nothing about baseball and that a player can actually PROGRESS especially when a team has one of the top pitching coaches in the league.

   I know nothing about baseball?

What you are essentially saying is that Maine should be put in the same class as Pedro, Oswalt and Webb?

Not to mention that El Duque is 50 years old and has never even come close to a year like this since 1998.

They will both come back to Earth soon.. I cannot believe you think both of them will keep this up. Talk about being biased. :nonono: :nonono:

BUMPED THREAD

and more to question is this topic has not been spoken of since May 29th why the F' on this board do we want to talk about John Maine it is considered trollin. Cmaff he baited you, if I were to di this crap on the Mets board that crummy SHOE mod would suspend me and absolutely give me a warning. The mods here have been extremely patient but it's about time someone regulated here.
