Bickerstaff is a bad coach and after firing Mchale its been obvious that the players have been running the organization. And like most players who think they can do things their way, theyre wrong. I dont get why Capela has barely played. Hes their best big man at this point IMO at least against Golden State. Dwight sucks in this matchup and Dmos skillset isnt gonna be very effective against the Warriors either.

It's not like there weren't signs last year either. Even though they definitely overachieved for their talent level they still looked like dog crap for 23 quarters against the Clippers and if it weren't for Josh Smith nailing pull up 3s they would've lost in the semis with multiple 20+ point losses. (Including one where Paul didn't play!) Hell if the Clippers had Paul healthy it's likely they would've swept.

They're just terrible. They don't play defense and they give up completely at the first punch they receive.

The comments made by Kerr after the game are somewhat concerning. Seems like they don't really know what's wrong with Steph and that Curry, despite being able to seemingly move around without pain, feels pain or discomfort in his foot even during warm-up.

Unless he's 100% fine and feels no discomfort at all, I hope he'll sit out Game 3 in Houston as well. It would be an absolute shame if he couldn't be at 100% in this year's playoffs. Hopefully most of it is still precautionary.

They scored 17 points of 13 rebounds, 21 off 19 turnovers right? I don't know how to calculate team rebound rate, but both teams got much less defensive rebounds than usual so it's probably higher. The half court offense didn't impress that much imo, they seemed to score off every rebound though which was crazy

On curry, I think he should get an mri just in case.

I didn't get that message from his comments though, we might just be reading it differently.

It still seems like theyre being cautious. I'm sure we all have had falls like curry has had, i kinda get why he feels discomfort during the warm ups, but When ur able to walk well normally that means his only a day or two from recovering, I have the same problem (though scholisis somehow happened after I fell which doesent even make sense) ad personally there has been a lingering pain, but it's easy to go through for sprints and that stuff. I don't think it will effect him in the playoffs, but he needs to get it checked out. If when he moves his ankle around to stretch it there's a cracking sound, imo that means he can probably play through it without it being risky, but he should get it checked out for the long term.

Well, first of all Kerr said that Curry decided to not play after trying "to push off on it and it was tender". Then asked about whether it's a foot or an ankle problem, Kerr response was: "I don't know, honestly. It's both, I mean, I'm not sure I know the difference. It's on the back of foot and underneath the ankle. It's something down there." Sure, the second part of the second statement make it sound like it's semantics only but maybe they really have no idea why he's feeling the pain. To me, that would be concerning, although this might only be me being hypersensitive considering the historic season at stake.

Last press conference, Curry said he doesn't see a scenario where he would sit out. Before this game, he tried to warm up and decided to not play due to discomfort or pain (pretty evident from the video before the game, he only tried one minor move, shook his head and headed back to the locker room). It wasn't Kerr who told him to rest as Kerr mentioned in the post game press conference. So either Curry changed his mind about not playing through any pain himself, or the coaching staff made him realize that it's not worth to risk anything, or he really couldn't play regardless of the situation. Either way, it's safe to say that Steph felt clearly more pain/discomfort than he expected or else he would have played.

The good thing is Warriors can beat this team without Curry in 5 games max. This will give Curry a full 2 weeks+ off. I hope Curry can play because I really wanna see what the Clippers, Spurs and then presumably the Cavs throw at Curry this year. Not to mention Curry needs to finish his all-time season by playing in the playoffs.

There’s currently an opacity to what’s going on with Curry. Truths are still tucked away, hidden behind that training room door. In postgame, Kerr mentioned Curry’s “foot,” even though the official word was “tweaked ankle.” When asked specifically if it’s a foot or an ankle, Kerr said, “I don’t know. Honestly. It’s both. I mean, I’m not sure I know the difference. It’s the back of his foot, it’s the ankle, it’s something down there.”

The reigning assumption was that Curry had suffered one of his typical ankle sprains, but the optics don’t exactly jibe. The camera angle of the injury was less than ideal, but it was hard to discern an inversion of the foot. After Saturday’s game, multiple observers noted that Curry’s ankle did not appear swollen, as what normally happens after a sprain in that area. After the injury, Curry was walking without a limp, which seemed like a positive indicator -- but one that doesn’t exactly fit the picture of a standard ankle sprain.

No joke. Whether its major or not, we're not being told much. I hope its manageable, but keeping it hush like this makes it seem like they're trying to avoid inevitable hoopla because it might be more serious.

Let's be real though. Teams are never forthcoming with injuries in the playoffs, especially to their stars. I remember in 2013 Spo and Wade kept on insisting that Wade was fully fine while dragging one knee around on the floor and then after the game 7 of the Finals Wade finally came out and said he was playing in a lot of pain.

Point is this isn't unique to Curry and the Warriors. He could be totally fine or he could be in danger of missing extended time, they are not going to say much. All we can do is wait and actually WATCH him play. I wouldn't go by what the team says about the injury regardless.

This whole curry being delayed thing sucks.

Though for some reason I feel like he'll show up right when they need him and propel them to the win.

Kind of reminds me of Goku having to arrive at the battlefield and everyone is just trying to buy time.

I think he might come back for the clippers series

UPDATE from Warriors Board

I thought I was good (to play) tonight, so my word is not very good on that front," Curry said. "I'm going to approach (Game 3) like I'm playing for sure."

I'm hoping this closed door approach is merely to not pressure Curry into playing what is really an unnecessary series to participate in.

If it's something like an ankle strain that has a 1-2 week recovery then I dont know why he would say, I'll play thursday probably.
