The home court advantage could really be the deciding factor in this series. Let's hope for another good game from Bogdan tomorrow.

He is looking like one of those really solid do everything players on a really good team, Raja Bell, Dan Majerle, Quentin Richardson type of role.

Yes I agree, but Real Madrid was very close this time and they are a highly expreinced team. I think they are still the favourites until proven otherwise.

For Bogdan I hope offcourse Fener wins.

Game 2 was a dominance of FB, looking like the favourite to win the EL(CSKA according to bookies). Bogdan with another great game - 25mins, 16pts, 4rb, 2as, 2stl.

Real's weakness does surprise me, and I wish Fener seals it next game.

Gotta remember Fener has a great coach (Željko Obradović) who won a great deal of titles in Europe (in Greece in the near past, a few times against my home team) and I'm sure Bogdan learns a lot from him.

Either everyone on FB is called Bogdanovic or the announcers really said his name a whole damn lot

I liked to see him playing physically on some possessions.

He certainly is aggressive on both ends of the court and extremely confident.

I think you guys and Suns might expect a lot from Bogdan. Though as with any Euro player, a lot will depend on how he assimilates to NBA game which in past has been a problem for many Serbian and Croatian players. He won't be a star, but he's the kind of player every team needs - smart, do what's necessary on both ends, unafraid team first guy. If he adjusts well, he could explode to being an all star level, if not... it's hard to evaluate comparing Euro games and NBA. In Europe a lot more physical defense is allowed than in NBA, also less space in paint, as 3pt line is closer, so you have to play and think on the court differently.

and btw, many fans in Europe call him Boogie Bogdanovic, so your wining to get Boogie on the team might actually come true :D

I do hope the front office has a realistic level of expectations from Bogdan, at least for the first couple of seasons with us. He is still raw, needs to add muscle and adjust to the NBA. As I said before, for the 27th pick I expect nothing more than a role player (which we certainly need).

If anything I think he should learn to be more selfish to show his full potencial in NBA. In Europe offenses rely heavily on ball movement similar to Spurs style of play, where Bogdan would fit perfectly from the start, so everybody gets his fair share of opportunities. Not sure he will fit with the Suns right away, but lineup with Devin should work quite well as both have play-making skills and like to play team ball.

man, I really needed to put Fene W on my ticket, but I gave too much credit to Real. That team plays no D, and Rudy Fernandez is garbage.
On the other hand, Ekep Udoh is quickly becoming one of my favorites. DPOY candidate?

It is just simple...the difference between the NBA and Euroleague is HUGE. Great players in Europe are easily not more than end of the bench players in the NBA.

Bjelica dominated last year in Europe...what is he doing on the Wolves?

Weems was one of the best (if not the best) wing player the last few years in Europe and he is probably out of the league right now.

Zoran was terrific with Malaga and his national team in 2014 but he is out of the league too.

I need to watch Bogdanovic playing in the NBA well enough before expecting good contribution from him.
Hopefully he surprises me, that would be great.

He looks like a Raja Bell type to me. His productivity completely depends on who he is playing with and what his role will be.

So. Bogdan is clearly the leader on his team. He is carrying that team to a 3-0 series lead over a Real Madrid team that includes:

Rudy Fernandez
Sergio Rodruiguez
Andres Nicioni
Gustavo Ayon

All former NBA players. Willy Hernangomez is also on that team.

Bogdan's own team includes Jan Vesely, Ekpe Udoh, and Pero Antic

I would say that there is enough substance there to get a little excited.

He definitely has the trust of his coach as he was running the offense most of the time. Started the last game slowly(missing first 5-6 shots), but still ended leading the team in scoring. Ekpe Udoh has also impressed in the series, Vesely is injured and did not participate, probably he will be available for the final four. Bogdan has a good chemistry with both of them, he always looks for the bigs on his drives to the basket, which is something I like in his game.
