No need for me to stop... Stan has stopped Jodie from soaking up any of these playoff minutes, and I applaud that decision.

You applaud the failure Steve Blake?
Steve Blake can't guard a statue. Anyone on our team would do a better job right now.

I see straw-manning is strong with you.

Again, I applaud the decision that Stan has made in giving Jodie Meeks no minutes.

Not really straw-manning. You say you applaud the decision to not play Meeks in favor of Blake, which means you believe Blake is doing a better job than Meeks would.

Exactly straw-manning. You even used my quote and attempted to straw man even now!   Hilarious. Since I clearly need to re-iterate a third time... I shall. I applaud the decision that Stan has made in giving Jodie Meeks no minutes. You can continue to attempt to add to what I've stated, but that does not equate to me stating it.

What is going on here?

Meeks couldn't play, and then when he could Stan said he didn't want to mess up the rotation, then he got him some reps in the last game just in case. Now we could use his scoring/shooting, so if he can help he should play. What's the problem?

There's not a problem at all, I guess someone want to create false narratives.. as if Jodi is intentionally refusing to play.

No false narratives here. Simply supporting our coach in his decisions. Jodie is an afterthought, and is/should be treated as such.

As if Jodie didn't score against the Dleague cavs. This idea that he's ready is ridiculous. Would rather try spencer.

Spencer, Hilliard, Jodie, HELL JOEL ANTHONY might do a better job. Anyone but Steve Blake, his defense is horrendous!

Right... it wasn't his decision at all. Of course. He doesn't have any authority over deciding to play.

Exactly... Stan Van Gundy made the decision to not play him. Not Meeks (like you were implying)

Didn't realize I was talking to Jodie! Hey Jodie, go find some other sucker to pay you! Live with the fact that you cannot get playing time over Steve Blake!!! Next contract may go better for ya. Good luck!

Yes you caught me, I am Jodie Meeks everyone.

You seem to really hate Jodie Meeks, did he sleep with your girlfriend or something? You haven't posted on here in a few months & before that it had been over a year since you posted, but you suddenly come on here to bash Jodie Meeks.. hmmm :D

FYI: I personally don't care for Jodie Meeks, and would rather him be off the team next season. But he is a better option than Steve Blake in the short term.

More straw-manning! Classic. I just have an issue with guys leeching off of my beloved Pistons. Begone Jodie.

I have yet to see how I was proven wrong. My position has never changed, and nothing that's been said proves anything. Jodie doesn't deserve any playing time. My opinions are my own; I even prefaced my comments with the fact that I knew it was unpopular. If anything, the fine combination of Stan's not giving him minutes and these retaliatory statements en masse proves that I'm correct.

Eff Jodie Meeks. That is all.

You're back-pedaling. We're not talking about whether you think Jodie Meeks deserves to play.
We're talking about you making outrageous claims that Jodie Meeks was healthy enough to play in January/February and that he was refusing to play. He had a setback, so this is not true... by the time he was ready to come back it was too late to add him to the rotation.

If you're opinion is that Jodie doesn't deserve to play, fine, but don't make up stories about him refusing to play/abandoning the team.. that is simply not true.

Let Jodie Meeks do all that for some other team.
Time to move on.

Not back peddling even slightly. You've absolutely no idea who I am or what I do. My opinions are derived from what I know. That is all I'll say on that. Jodie gave up on this team. He now only wishes an opportunity to market himself. The Stan Van is having none of it. With that, continue to root for the guy. I will not, and will be very candid (without going into absolute specifics) about why I won't.
