No idea why Beneil gave up his back like that, also...that was nasty. Not a choke at all, just choked the dude's face off. Pain move.

I know it's really late at this point, but that was a surprising way for Beneil to lose. I am a huge fan of his considering he's a fellow Iranian, but with him pretty much not wanting to fight for the title (since RDA trains with him), his motivation just doesn't seem to be there either. He's a hell of a talent though, I was just really disappointed in his showing. It wasn't like he did bad in the first round either (I gave it to him 10-9, actually) but his skills have not evolved in the way I was hoping for. I don't think he won his last fight against Michael Johnson either, but after a controversial decision, he needed something big.

Just hate when my guys don't deliver when they should.....


At least there's Mousasi for 200.

And for some reason UFC keeps bringing back the ultimate headcase in Reza Madadi ....

Guys just hate the idea of being on their backs so much. Even relative elite grapplers. That they are willing to give up their backs to get up. You saw Thatch do the same thing vs Benson. It doesn't work against someone like Chiesa. He's too good.
