I don't care about efficiency or anything like that, the guys with the impact are the ones that stick out in my mind for 6th man. Crawford scores, Iggy does it on both sides of the court. Iggy for me. Barton is very good too, plays both sides of the court. Lin was mentioned, good enough, definitely had some huge step-up games/moments for Charlotte this season. Right now, Lin wants to win some playoff games and do his part. And I think Hornets fans would love to see at least one of those Linsanity-level games where his energy is up, confidence and hustle are strong and he's making things happen in scoring, facilitating, hustling, and just being active.

That would be popularity contest. Talk about a player long enough and you've got a potential winner. Scoring is based on shots taken. You take enouh shots you are gonna score some shot. Kobe took 50 shots. He'd better score 60 or he should have retired earlier. Efficiency is important to look at if you are projecting points. I don't care myself for shooting percentage. Best stat is PPS for scoring efficiency.

My point was to look beyond scoring and how much his presence impacts the team. Lin beats you in more ways than scoring. So does Iggy. Crawford, is primarily a scorer.

I guess after Lin writing on reddit that Marv ties with Jared Jeffries as the best teammate he's ever had, they've adopted Marv the way they've done with some past JLin teammates. This clip ends with JLin pulling Marv aside to offer words of advice and encouragement on the court.

I wonder if Marv is the Hornets player that JLin takes with him on his Asia tour this summer.

Hopefully, Marv can play better in the remainder of the series. He's performed well in the regular season, and he'll need to do it in the playoffs as well if the Hornets are to be competitive against the Heat.

hey man, no word yet but he really seems to enjoy playing for this team, compared it to playing for his high school team.

I believe Charlotte should make a great effort to keep him. The fans love him too. I love watching him play too. That second quarter against Boston a couple weeks ago was ridiculous. You have to love players that dig down deep, sacrifice themselves for the team, and make a difference. Very impressive!
