“You never say you’ve been through everything, but we have been through a lot,” said Blake Griffin. “We’ve lost several different ways and we’ve lost tough series and we’ve lost when we’ve been up and when we felt like we should’ve won. We’ve also won tough series.”
The Clippers jumped out to a 2-0 series lead on Portland after dominating wins of at least 20 points apiece. Their focus is strictly on Game 3 entering Saturday night’s matchup, but the Clippers have a chance to do something Griffin’s never experienced if they can stomp on the Trail Blazers before giving them hope.
“I don’t think I’ve ever won a series that wasn’t a Game 7,” Griffin said. “That’s kind of the next step, closing out a series without using too much energy, without taking it to seven games, taking care of business when you do have a lead like this.”

The fact that the Clippers have been able to win three game 7 series' in their past including on the road vs Memphis in 11-12 is actually a good thing, but it would certianly be a nice change to not go that long. Portland is obviously the "easiest" opponent the Clippers have played in the first round, well, any round after playing Memphis (41-25: 51 win pace), Memphis (56-26), Golden State (51-31) and San Antonio (55-27). So it would be a nice change of pace to win a series without going the whole distance, and that starts tonight.
