I wouldn't be surprised to see us draft and stash a Euro guy with the Cavs pick. Also, I don't see why we'd bring Bogdan with such a log jam at the guard positions right now. It'd be really difficult to get him meaningful minutes with Booker and Knight both logging minutes at the 2.

There is no definitive litmus test, it is very much hit or miss. Even the best talent evaluators are more likely than not to come out empty handed than finding a diamond in the rough in a historically weak class, at least there is depth at positions of need

I hope we saw the last game of Brandon Knight in the Suns` uni, especially after his comments about his role lately.

I want to watch talented basketball players playing team ball from now on, so bring on Bogdan to the Valley.

And you guys here will love Bogdanovic, mark my words. Unselfish, tough all-around wing with a huge heart.

Zizic looks like the better one for me.
It's really sad to watch this 18-19yo kids already with a go-to move in the post
and we have a former top5 pick who cant do anything from there.

I'm hoping Jeanne declares too. He has a really underrated passing ability.
Every time I watch him Gobert pops up as a comp. (need to improve his hands tho)

In my opinion it is all about the level of competition. Len probably would destroy teams in Europe with his post game.

Against who is Zizic playing in his league? Len is playing against NBA starters...difference is huge.

He was underachieving as a sophomore at Maryland at the same age, never garned any All-American consideration. Meanwhile Zizic is posting a TS% of 68% and the second highest PER in Adriatic League history, it may not be the best Europe has to offer but NCAA competition is joke in comparison

Really? Overstating a bit maybe?

I definitely wouldn't mind for Brandon Knight to be gone next season, but I have a feeling that trading him this offseason might not be the best option. We'd essentially be selling at his lowest value considering he just got surgery recently, and part of me wants to see us let his value go up before we trade him. We gave up too much to get him to just piss him away at his lowest trade value.

Bogdanovic has been great in Europe, he already has a fan in me and I'd love to see him over here. I just can't see him wanting to come here without the guarantee that we can give him reasonable playing time off the bat, and unless Knight is gone we probably can't.

I find it hard to believe that anyone in the US actually watches the Adriatic League on a consistent basis. The NBA is the best league in the world, bar none, and it overwhelmingly selects players from the NCAA over players in foreign leagues. I think an American bias is well warranted.

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

It feels a little bit like saying MLS teams are so much better than the 2nd tier Euro Futbol clubs.....

“We really value guys at different sizes who can play multiple positions, who can create good shots for themselves and have some versatility,” Suns GM Ryan McDonough said. “That’s the hardest thing to find. I think we have a few of those guys on our roster already and hopefully we’ll be able to add one or two more in the draft.”

As usual I have no idea what that actually means.

That doesn't apply in this case, because amateur and professional organized sports are not comparable in the slightest

:banghead: You don't find just any midmajor upperclassman making a living overseas unless you're talking about the CBA. Sure there are some elite one and done talent in the Power Five conferences but there isn't much separating Division 1 teams, hence anything can happen in March Madness.I know these are only scrimmage exhibitionsbut still. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_games_played_between_NBA_and_international_teams#2010s

Not shocking if you've followed the kid since HS. Bay Area kid who wants to have a legacy at Cal. Should easily be a top-5 pick in 2017. He has a lot of room to grow.

OK. Are you calling NCAA competition "AAU Ball" sarcastically or did you just change your original comparison?

Big risk. There will be a much deeper draft next year, he could easily drop just because of that. Then there is the risk of major injury. If I was counseling him, I would tell him to go. Anyone likely to be a lottery pick, I would tell to go.

Obviously the guy hasn't played the MyPlayer mode in NBA2K16. That agent was so convincing that going pro is the right move I was sold almost instantly!

So I think I made my decision on who we should draft if we land outside the top two and that is Jaylen Brown.

I'd agree on Brown if we envision him on a 3&D kind of role.

But when interviewed he puts himself as a "playmaker". And then he has a tendency on forcing the issue when driving, which leads to turnovers and drives me crazy.
