Lee on the Pitching Staff
I think Zach Lee is currently in our bullpen with Yimi Garcia on the 15-day DL due numbness in his arm.
Update: Geez. The Dodgers are already doing a pretty bang-up job of screwing themselves without having to be squeezed by the ump on that ball call that totally caught the plate. In the end, it didn't matter as Baez struck the guy out for the 1st out in the inning.

is he? Dave should have given the ball to Zach to start the 6th then. in fact we should consider having alex 3 and zaxh 3, a combined effort for a single competent starter... lol
ehhhhh f it.

Please put up some runs.
Really not fair to have the bullpen in a high leverage situation in this video game hitter's park because of all of YOUR fielding errors.
Protect the psyche of your bullpen.
They don't deserve this ****.

Baez Preserves Wood's Chance for a Win
I'm pleasantly surprised the Dodgers got out of the bases-loaded jam with minimal damage, especially with Baez throwing practically nothing but heat.

Re: 2016 Regular Season Thread
I know some including Kershaw is not happy about extreme shifts we sport with a few hits that seems to find holes which traditionally would have been routine plays, but in a long run, with a season full of sample size, we will end up saving a ton of runs because of it.

I see the talent.
I just also see Matt Holliday's bomb in Game 1 of the 2014 NLDS.
I also saw David Wright's single up the middle in Game 1 of the 2015 NLDS.
I also remember him getting worked in Game 3 of the 2015 NLDS.
THERE'S ONLY one place where he can earn my trust again....that's the postseason.

it's gonna be fun when Jacob Rhames makes it up through the pipe line and we can sport Baez-Rhames-MOntas all throwing 98 to 102 gas after gas

Liberated from Bullpen Worries Whenever He's in the Game
Liberatore has been clutch for us so far this season.

Neddy wrote:then you must also have doubts about Kershaw....
not really.
1) He's had 2 poor starts against the Cards, 1 Quality Start against the Cards [that's not good enough because he's the best pitcher in the game]. 1 good start against the Cards (Game 2 NLCS...took an L on an unearned run and we lost the game 1-0)
2) 2 great starts against Atlanta
3) 1 good start against NYM. 1 excellent start against NYM.
4) He's been great on 3 days rest (aka clutch time + fatigue) sans hanging a curve ball to Matt Adams.
I dont care about the previous years before he found his slider. If they count:
Add another good start against the Cards in the 2009 NLDS.
Add a poor start against the Phillies that was going well until the 5th inning.
As far as I'm concerned, another team is gonna have to take a dump on Kershaw (the Kershaw with a slider) for me to think his playoff woes are anything more than the Cardinals being a great franchise with quality scouting.

The offense provides no relief late.
This one is all on the bullpen for better or worse.

I personally think Cardinals are great at stealing signs. I would start from their outfield bleachers, probably somewhere in or near the scoreboard.
