Thanks for starting the thread for us... Sorry I have been AWOL this season... Hey looking at the numbers and going with my gut I had the Grizzlies winning this thing in 5 games. It starts with a. Big statement win tonight on the Spurs home floor in front of their loved ones and children . To have their hearts ripped out in front of them while still beating... The Grizzlies claw will destroy them all

After watching game two, I got to admit our chances to win one game are slim to none.

We play with no PG. We have the worst PG combo in the nba. (in the last 30 years)

Out offense is horrible. ZBO and Stephenson are the only ones who can actually score. Zbo is being bullied in the paint and no calls made and Stephenson wont make you win a game.

Out defense might be ok in the one on one section, but when they move the ball, they find the weak link at some point and the easy basket comes. With "weak link" I am talking about PG spot obviously.

All in all, I am glad that it is the spurs doing the swept here, Think it could be worse if the Clipps or the thunder were the ones playing.

So good luck Spurs, I am counting on you for the finals

I don't think the Spurs will sweep okc but it's not unthinkable to see them win in 5 or 6 games with less effort expended. Their path to the finals is set. I foresee a blunt show between clippers and warriors and the victor rewarded by a clowns topping via San Antonio.

It will be boring but Spurs in the finals is most likely outcome and even more boring and detrimental to the sports popularity will be yet another championship title to the boys in grey and black. They have certainly earned it through their continual dominance and no none sense approach to winning. It's going to be exciting if the Warriors sneak by he clippers and Spurs do get challenged by the thunder although I don't see that right now . If they meet I wonder if the Spurs old game is finally dethroned by the new warrior order

The Memphis miracle game 4! I watched us lose 12 straight playoff games including being swept by the Spurs in 2004 and then swept again in 2013 in our greatest season in franchise history... No one expects them to roll over but will grit grind have one last sputter today before they officially bury it with zAch randolphs decapitated body tonight?

Very ironic statement given that Prince himself unfortunately and suddenly passed away this past Thursday morning. RIP

As for the series itself, no surprises about the result. The Grizzlies fought as hard as possible. Just too riddled with injuries and not enough weapons to overcome the Spurs.

And takes to ducler for making the Grizzlies/Spurs playoff thread. Wasn't expecting one as I been absent from here for a while.

Hi Memphis fans,
I come with peace. As I said on MIN forum I really like your team your warrior mentality. I hope you come back stronger next year. You have an identity that is hard to find in modern NBA. This late season is particularly impressive. Without Gasol and Conley your players showed heart every single game. I hope one day your grit and grind will bring you to the title. You can be proud of your team.

P.S. Joeger is the man!
