Let's do this.

No disrespect to the Mavericks but it feels like the playoffs can truly begin for us now.

Spurs in 5. I hope I'm wrong.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

Not at all. I wasn't sure what the protocol was so I figured why not give it a shot.

I know one thing, we need KD to get back to being his usual efficient self to have a shot in this series.

No protocol, I'm just blind and didn't see it until after I started one .

Told Bondom I'd show up every once in awhile, so here I am. (I'm TempBoy Brandon on DT).

I'm so pumped for this series and hate we have to wait 5 days for it to start.

I know all the numbers (records, MOV, etc) say that the Spurs should win this, but our athleticism should be an issue for them. And they have bouts where they struggle to score. I expect a rebound series from KD (yes, I know Kawhi will be guarding him), only because I can't see KD having two series in a row where he struggles with his shot. I think the fire will be there with KD going up against Kawhi. And they can't stop Russ. Our Ibaka/Adams/Kanter frontline should give them some issues as well.

Obviously, their historic defense is an issue. Haha. As is Kawhi's improved offensive ability, LMA and the fact that guys like Duncan, Parker, Manu, Green and West are "role" players. What a luxury.

For us to win, we need Dion not to suck and for Kanter to be a force off the bench while not giving out buckets like they're hotcakes on the other end. And we need Mavs Series Serge to show up instead of Regular Season Serge. Those things happen and we can win this thing.

It´s going to be a tough series for us! Time to show some character and stay focussed throughout the whole game, offensively and defensively!

I´m ready for this!

One of these things is not like the others:

I think our guys knew they were a lot better than that Mavs roster and they ended up just getting frustrated that they wouldn't just lie down and die already. They have a lot more respect for the Spurs so I expect the focus level to at least be a lot better this series.

Glad to see you Brandon.

I've been looking forward to this one too, really thought they had a shot at the Spurs all season, and it will take a big effort but if KD plays like his normal self and they stay focused on defense its a real possibility to me. If they get the bench that showed up last series its gonna be a dog fight.

We've been using that excuse far too much this season..

Some updates about Kanter?
I also think Spurs in 5 (and hope i'm wrong). First 2 games are the most importants in my opinion (we badly need to beat them as soon as possible).

Foye has got to hit the bench... Get Cam in there.

This series is going to be about Westbrook creating good shots for everyone, and defense.

Just imagining Durant as the main ball-handler with Kawhi on him, the Spurs traps waiting and Foye as the secondary ball-handler when Russ is on the bench makes me wince. This lineup may break the record for most turnovers per minute.
