Sounds good. Second time the last 24 hours someone mentioned CNSY when I brought up Neil Young. I'll have to check it out, any suggestions for an album I should listen to first? I've only been listening to his first several albums he did with Crazy Horse the last like 10 years. Found this 2012 album he did and was surprised he still rockin and rekindled my love for his stuff.

The CSNY album Deja Vu is amazing from start to finish - highlights: Carry On, Almost Cut My Hair, Helpless, Deja Vu, Country Girl, Everybody I Love You.

Neil's stuff with Crazy Horse is definitely more rocking, edgier than his stuff with CSNY, which was more folk, vocal harmonies, melodic, catchy stuff.

Fats favorite Neil Young songs

It's a damn near impossible task for me to rank my favorite Neil songs. Pretty much everything he recorded from his days with Buffalo Springfield in the late 60s, to his brief sting with Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young around 1970 and his many solo albums in the 70s, it's all brilliant. I started to tune Neil out a bit in the 90s when the grunge bands started to latch on to his music and turned him into the godfather of grunge. To me, I mostly preferred his softer more melodic and country influenced music as opposed to the heavier grunge stuff. That's not to say the heavier stuff isn't good, some is fantastic, just wasn't my favorite.

Honorable mention to many of the big hits I left off my list: Heart of Gold, Old Man, Southern Man, Hey Hey My My and My My Hey Hey (both versions great), Down By The River and Cortez the Killer. Also HM to the entire album of After The Gold Rush, which is all fantastic, but didn't have any songs in the top 10.

11. Alabama - the song that sparked the back and forth between Neil Young and Lynyrd Skynyrd. Skynyrd followed with Sweet Home Alabama after Neil wrong Alabama and Southern Man. Later Ronnie Van Zant from Skynyrd wore a Neil Young shirt on the album cover for their album Street Survivors. Pretty cool piece of music history.

Even though I was fortunate enough to see Prince in concert at TWC in 2011, I am definitely not the right person to make a Prince list. His catalogue was way too massive for a casual fan rate.

I can tell that out of all his big hits Lets Go Crazy and Raspberry Beret are probably my favorites. I'll also not shed a tear if I never hear the song Kiss again the rest of my life.

Fats Favorite Crosby, Stills, Nash (CSN) and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young (CSNY) Songs

- The formation of a supergroup -> Crosby was from Byrds, Stills and Young were from Buffalo Springfield and Nash was from the Hollies.
- One of the greatest vocal/harmony classic rock bands in history.
- Some of these guys all hate each other these days, particularly Crosby and Nash. Yay, drugs.
- Drew Barrymore lived with Crosby for several months to help get clean. Yay, drugs.
- Their first live concert as a band was Woodstock. How's that for pressure.
- I saw them in concert back in the early 90s. I lost a shoe during the concert and had to walk to my car across a massive gravel parking lot barefoot. That was not fun. Yay, drugs.
- All of these guys put out some great solo and duo albums in the 70s,particularly Young and Stills.
- Crosby is the biological father for two of Melissa Etheridge's kids. Could she not find a donor that wasn't a junkie? Yay, drugs.
- Stills is a massively underrated guitar player
