I've wanted to see that since late March. CJ was a good proof of concept for us in that department earlier, but physically he gave up a lot and got injured because of it. Solo can bang, and apparently, all of a sudden he can also hit 3's from every spot, not just the corners.

If Ian wasn't injured, I'm sure he'd be able to do a bit more in this series. Still, he's going to be on the other side of 30 soon enough and unlike George Hill, he relies on his physical traits more.

So I wake up and the Pacers did really lose...I was hoping it was just bad dream. If they are able to pull out this series, then their mental fortitude is much greater than I could even imagine.

I'm pissed.

We were a platoon for 3:24 in the 4th (Ian was out there, but it might as well have been all bench). That's when Paul George and George Hill got in the game and proceeded to also not score points (CJ got a jumper).

The game was not lost because of substitutions. Vogel brought the starters back in early in the 4th. That did nothing for another 6 minutes. Paul George turned it over twice, Monta chucked a three, and Rodney was really bad. With Paul George on the floor the Pacers only scored 9 points in the quarter. This was an execution mistake. The Pacers started getting in their own heads and not moving the ball like they did in the 1st 3 quarters. You can only tell a player to do their job so much. They have to go out and do it.

The game was most definitely lost because our bench cannot handle being left out there alone without the help of Hill, George, or Monta. By the time Vogel finally called the time out, the damage had been done. The lead was cut to, what, 3? The crowd was back into it and the Raptors had all the momentum. The starters could've played better when they came back in, sure, but they never should have been put into that situation.

He should have never put a bench platoon out there in the first place and they never should have stayed out there as long as they did after the Raptors got on a roll. It costed us the game.

Yeah, no defense, that was a **** move and I think he knew it afterwards. I think it looked like he said "my bad, you're right". I dont' think he meant to hurt him but was trying to prevent him getting both hands on the ball. Not malicious, but definitely reckless.

I dunno man, it looked rather malicious to me. I mean I was really hoping someone would take PG out of the game, but this wasn't what I imagined. He was really close to doing some serious damage to the guy and it seemed like he knew exactly what he was doing. I can totally understand why Pacers fans were livid at the refs for only giving PG a tech after that.

While I'm here, just want to tell the Pacers fans your team has been tough as nails, and I couldn't believe the rotation Vogel came out with in the 4th. It must have seemed like an eternity to you guys. PG is a legit superstar, and it took this series for me to finally see it. Turner is going to be star in this league. Solomon Hill is already a really solid player, unfortunately that will unlikely be with the Pacers going forward since Bird declined the option. George Hill can still ball. Monta should be better, but seems like a poor fit. Everyone else should be replaced.

What I meant was that I don't think Lowry was doing it to INJURE George, but it was definitely intentional.

Agreed. It was a dirty play with the intent to hold PG down so as to not let him get the ball, but it wasn't an attempt to injury like Kelly last year.

PG levelled Demar in game 2, Mahinmi been throwing JV down in the post. Not condoning Kyle's actions, it was bush league, but this series has had its fair share of cheap shots both ways.

JV got clocked in the head and no flagrant or even talk of a flagrant either.

Tough plays both ways, it happens.

He's getting more than Al Jefferson.
