Put out of it's misery (Rockets 2015/2016 season)

Post#1 » by Mr. E » Thu Apr 28, 2016 6:00 am

I am relieved that it is over. This season has been so painful to watch.

It is so strange thinking about last year when all many of us were thinking the team needed were tweaks. Now the discussion is all out blowing the team up!

I wish that I could list some highlights of this past season...but seriously, nothing to see here.

Glad that it is over. Bring on JVG (hopefully) and a roster overhaul!

There are 5 guys I definitely want back on this team next season: Harden, Capela, Motiejunas, McDaniels & Harrell. I'm not even calling them long-term keepers, but I just don't want to see the team move them now.

I want to see how those guys do under a new coach and new mentality.

But as for 2015/2016...less said the better.

Can hear McHale laughing.

Harden is going to leave in 2018 unless next year is a miracle turnaround. Might as well get something good for him now while his reputation isn't totally trashed yet.
Harden is still a work-in-progress. He can score, but he can't help his teammate that much - Yao Ming

What was more painful to watch? This game or the Texans playoff game vs Kansas City?

Didn't even turn on the game. I saw we were down like 20 points early and didn't even bother watching.

I'm glad it's over now too, so I can stop deluding myself with false hope.

On to re-tooling but not rebuilding.
