sucks about curry, but im shedding no tears for chris paul. dont get me wrong, i wouldnt wish injury on anyone, but at the same time i have little sypmathy for a dirty player who goes around hitting dudes in the nuts and flops the way he does

Is he still flopping? I haven't seen him do anything bad this year.

Pacers are completely imploding. This Raptors team will be swept by the Cavs if they make it that far though, they're completely fugazi.

Paul George having a career type night and the rest of his team basically playing keep away from him. The collective bbiq of Indiana is staggering.

We're seeing some real coaching though - Dwayne Casey was able to get his guys to up the defensive intensity and get Corey Joseph + Norman Powell in Indiana's passing lanes in the 4th. They held the Pacers to 9pts!

Brad Stevens vs Budenholzer has been pretty amazing to watch as well - the mark of a good coach is the ability to make adjustments. Case and point: the Celtics almost always go on runs after halftime. Beating the Hawks with Milsap going off for 45 was no small task.

I blame Vogel.

He had Ellis, George and Hill on the bench. Stuckey was terrible and the coach took too much time to change things.

This is not a new thing either, the Pacers can't seem to get the best out of Ellis - who was very good with Dallas in the playoffs the last two years - why not let him have a bigger role when George takes a rest? But no, he subs them out at the same time.

With 2:55 left, the Pacers had 2 points in the fourth quarter.

Again in this game, Norman Powell, #46 in last years draft, was huge. The guy is so intense and relentless, pretty amazing for a rookie to play with so much confidence.

That comeback was all on Indiana really. They choked hard. The Raptors played good d, but they were scared, they were a mess most of the game, the Pacers just got them back in the game with dumb play after dumb play and their best players on the bench.

Now we know why they won 60+ games two years ago and really struggled in the playoffs lol.

LoL you know what's funny watching these playoffs? The amount of low bbiq players/teams I see out there. I think I'd like Marks to build us a team with good BBIQ and fundamentals, even if it means signing guys that aren't regarded as "stars".

Lol so glad Boston lost they suck. We actually did better then them last year against a much better Hawks team , now let's just hope they draft a total bust . I'm hoping for wins from Pacers and hornets now , the east playoffs have been decent

They lost 4-2... but it wasn't as close as this makes it sound. They were historically bad in one quarter (7 points), they faced big deficits in 5 out of the 6 games. For all the hype about their coach, their offense is awful and he allowed the Hawks to go on big runs without stopping the bleeding by calling timeouts, changing something. They were exposed for what they are - a team with average players, but is very deep in that regard - and again if they don't cash in on the draft picks or luck out with a stud, they won't be that different next season.

Boston has one B tier stud and a bunch of C tier players. Not gonna cut it against Atlanta with three B tiers and two way C tiers.

I actually found myself rooting for the Hawks because our coach is on there

Tbf, they lost Avery Bradley for the series and Olynyk didn't come in until late.

Without them, their offense goes from mediocre to terrible.
