I understand that EFJ is made to look really bad on that show, but can you trust reality show editing?

you're right...it's coming all from his wife's perspective, so it's not really fair not to know both sides, but I can't imagine not having a relationship with my children even if I am having problems with their mother....but that's just me.

I don't trust ex-wife info.

The only thing worse than a lying woman is a group of them.

Utah crushed Phoenix 103-69. Mack was two rebounds shy of a triple-double (15/10/8).

Mack and Ish Smith are arguably as good or better than Ramon Sessions, who himself has been a real solid backup PG.

This has turned-out to be very ironic, Mack is a starting PG now and doing pretty-well therefore Ernie gets an asteriks next to his otherwise disasterous 2011 draft. Mack at pick 34 was good usage of a 2nd round pick even though Parsons, Leur, and IT were taken after Mack. If we had any semblance of a development track/program, Mack would be in our rotation.

Why would Grunfeld get an asterisk on that draft? Mack was the most productive player for the Wizards from that draft, and they cut him twice to keep other players who were also less productive. The Wiz had no idea -- despite Mack's on court performance for them -- that they'd drafted a decent backup PG.

Not to mention that, having drafted Mack, Ernie then said "we cut him, because we don't have time to develop him."

No, definitely no asterisk next to the pick. Just more of the same Ernie Grunfeld ineptitude.

This is my bad then, I was impatient with Mack and he seemed to be kind of on the slow-side his rookie year. As time went on, his hesitant style of play (to me) appeared to be more a problem of the dysfunction of the offense at the time. At ATL, he looked like a 3rd stringer, but now that he is playing starter minutes in Utah, he looks pretty comfortable out-there and he makes good decisions....he has gotten better.

Oof! Did Ernie again make reference to not having time to develop a player?!?! regarding Mack? We truly are doomed then, all he ever really wants to do is keep those vets rolling in and out of here.

Mack is really balling, still, for Utah.

He's averaging 12.8 points, 6.9 assists, and a very impressive 4.6 rebounds in 31 minutes per-game in March 2016. His PER is a very respectable 14.3.

Preach, Kevin!

I can't say that any better than you just did.

EDITED TO ADD: The Wizards and EG probably NEVER considered Shelvin Mack to be a good player, because he was only drafted in round 2. Now, OTOH, if Mack were some other team's rotation player, then they'd trade a pick and/or pay good money for a player like Mack. So long as another team had him and he was considered a "veteran". The Wizards overvalue veterans from other teams, and they devalue their own round 2 picks.

IIRC, the Wizards did technically acquire a better in Livingston and then the Wizards gave up on him. :D

EDIT: Never mind, they actually followed it up by re-signing Mack over Livingston http://www.bulletsforever.com/2012/12/23/3797806/shelvin-mack-washington-wizards-2012-shaun-livingston-earl-barron :noway:

Kanye, there-in lies the problem, Ernie can't evaluate talent so he keeps the trades or bad FA signings going. Look at the domino effect of the Maynor, Webster, and Anderson signings, keeping Kevin too-long while not looking to add a young big man the past 4 years.

Will Nick Young be returning to obscurity now? Russell is a pariah now who violated the Bros before Hoes rule. OTOH Nick has never been too-bright, he had it made.

NicK Young isn't very smart...what type of jail house boot leg tattoo artist is he going to where they misspell a word in English. I always laugh when I see foreign lanauges tattooed on guys - knowing that if they don't read the language there is a chance it spells Dumb @$$. Who would have thought a former USC student would have a spelling issue...
