My offseason plan:

Draft Ingram or Simmons or trade the pick.
Pursue versatile and mobile bigs.
3 point shooter (Dudley, Bogdanovic,Belinelli)
Rim protection ( Mahimi, Biyombo)
Get rid of Sullinger.

I'd put $50 down today that Blake will be a Celtic (not a fan of the person, but the upgrade to our front court would be more sizeable than sully's ass).

I'm all in on Blake/Ingram. Let's get it done (sadly, Blake probably comes in a 3way with NYK for melo to LAC).

Give us Ingram and a good FA or two and next year we'll be playing games in May for sure.

It's hard to pass up on Simmons because he has superstar potential.

So does Ingram. And he can shoot. I think there is at least a 90% chance Ingram ends up a rotation player. And he'll probably be far better than that.

I think there is at least a 50% chance Simmons is awful and barely plays after a few years.

I just want the scorer. Simmons shot looks awful. I don't think he'll ever hit anything.

I just hope we are in position to draft any of those 2.

What are your thoughts on Blake having potentially **** -ty legs?

**** it. Blake is an incredible talent and Stevens with him is like giving a shark a bazooka. He will beast on this team.

Anyone can get injured.

Think I'm going to take a different approach this offseason and stay optimistic. We will get a good non-Horford player.

It's concerning. I'd rather go Ingram than Blake, and I'm hoping this issue (along with character concerns) will deflate his value such that we can get him without parting with either our 2016 or 2017 brooklyn picks.

There are only a couple players on this Celtics team that would even be considered starters for the other 15 playoff teams. IT and AB. And AB would be a third or fourth offensive option. Kudos to Brad on getting us through another year with some competitive and exciting basketball.

Now lets go get some guys that will make our team really tough to play against on both ends of the floor. I don't want to speculate on the draft yet, until after the lottery. The key will be finding the right mix of bigs to play with our group. I am really hoping we trade Olynyk, let Sully walk, and probably let Zeller walk. Amir and Jerebko would ideally be the 3rd and 4th bigs off the bench, so I am not sure about them.

The type of player that we could use as a big is a Favors or Milsap type, but I don't think there is going to be anyone like those two available. I think Danny is going to have to be creative to fill our need at the 4 and 5.

This will be Ainge's biggest offseason, as he has a chance to set this team up with a four or five year window to win a championship with the high draft pick, the cap space, and a solid group of guards. Add in the future Brooklyn picks and the Memphis pick and he could build a team for the foreseeable future.

Celtics need to make moves this offseason. We don't have the young talent to build with a #1 or #2 pick. We should trade our Bk's pick for a Star player and hope we can land some free agents. We definitely need to upgrade our bigs!

Free agents leaving:
Fat boy Sully (Weight/Shooting/IQ issues)
Turner. (After this series I hate him)
Zeller. (We already have a KO who can't rebound)
JJ. (Did good in playoffs but no thank you)

Free Agents:
KD Anderson
Whiteside Big Al
Horford Dwight
Drummond Conley/Rondo?
Affalo

Possible trade targets that Danny has expressed interest in:
Love
Griffin
Butler
Okafor
George

These are all very difficult targets but not impossible especially with our picks and fillers.

2016-2017 Roster so far
IT/Rozier
Bradley/Smart
Jae Crowder/Hunter
KO/Mickey
Amir....

My Dream team 2016-2017
IT/Rozier
Bradley/Smart
KD/Jae
Griffin/ Draft
Free agent/draft

What do you guys think? Who would you like to see wearing Green next season.

At first it seems unlikely to me that Clips voluntarily get older like that. But if Curry can't get back full steam I could see full super friends mode being activated in LA if Cleveland gets enough breaks to win one.

Hallelujah! Plenty of room over here on the positivity train! This is Ainge's biggest offseason since Ray Ray and KG, he's got to put the chips into the middle of the table, time for playing coy is over.
Personally, I thought he was a bit too conservative this season, not saying he should have sold the farm, and maybe options weren't available, but at the least he should have sold high on Sullinger's sorry ass. Maybe not even high, but package him with some late pick and pick up a shooter? IDK...

BfB (correct me if I'm wrong) sorta implied that Griffin (and not Butler or Okafor) was the real target prior to the trade deadline. Reporters did mention that the two parties will revisit the deal during the offseason. So there might be something to what you've heard.

#1 goal this offseason is to replace the entire front court. I never want to see any of these guys playing for us again. I wouldn't mind keeping Amir, but keeping his salary would probably mean we struck out in other areas.

A lot riding on where that Brooklyn pick lands.
1-2: we're money either way
3: can work with this, maybe someone falls for one of the guys
4-6: doubt any Durant enticement can come from this and we'd end up going BPA and doing this holding pattern thing again where we do short term deals and stay flexible. Might be the most likely at >50%, but still not the darkest scenario because 2 more years of BKN magic!

Hopefully the Sully's era in Boston is over. He just isn't committed to losing weight. Go play somewhere else.

Amazingly, given who I am quoting, I am all in for this & think Blake is feasible.
If Ingram falls this way as well, now we are talking **** turkey!
