Can't see Dallas or Cleveland giving up that much to move up only 5 spots for Cleveland and 7 spots for Dallas given how high their picks are in the second round. Plus, none of the teams after Green Bay will pick a QB. The only threat is a different team moving up ahead of those two teams, but none may do so.

There's one Qb possibly. I really think Hackenburg is going to be best qb coming out of this draft.

I would have loved to snag in the second or third as potential trade stuff with him and Hundley in a year or two. But too many needs. Broncos might bite on something to nab him in a trade down scenario.

Have to think teams knew that existed. Still worse it got out.

I doubt Jack makes it past Dallas in the 2nd.

With all the LBs and DLs that dropped Hunter Henry should easily be available when we pick, but I almost want to keep grabbing front 7 guys with #2 pick.

If somehow we land Jack tomorrow we would have 4 bruins: Datone, Hundley, Clark.
If somehow we land Ragland or A Shawn or Reed tomorrow we would have 3 bamas including HHCD and Lacy.

We've never really loaded up on one school before so I thought it was interesting (at least not that I noticed before).

It is insane how much value is still left.

I would like to see us trade our 3rd, 4th, and 6th to get another 2nd if these guys don't all get taken early.

Projected 1st
Myles Jack
Reggie Ragland
Billings
Spence
Reed
Ashawn

Projected early 2nd
Cravens
Dodd
Correa
Mackenzie Alexander
Deion Jones
Hargrave

And that is just defense

Then you have Michael Thomas, Derrick Henry, Spriggs, Braxton Miller, and your pick of any TE

We have to get two 2nds somehow

One of those will drop to 54. But I know what you mean I'm super tempted to move up to make sure we get one of those 1st round guys.

Hopefully all the projected 1st still hanging around pushes Deion Jones down to GB's pick. That's the guy I want, an ILB I am very confident can pass protect the middle of the field.

That said, I just have a suspicion Ted's gonna grab an OT with the 2nd pick.

I mean the opposite, not move up from the 2nd.....move up from the 3rd to get another 2nd.

I think your asking ALOT there. Moving up in the second is one thing. Depending on how far you're looking at jumping up its probably our 4th along with our 2nd to jump to the top of the round. Jump to the middle of the round would be adding a 5th to our pick I'd wager I could get behind either of those depending who the target is.

Adding another second in addition to our own is quite another matter. It'd be one thing if we owned a high 3rd rounder but as is any trade now would involve the team that we're trading with would need to be highly compensated to trade down to the back end of the 3rd and out of the 2nd completely. That's likely a VERY costly proposition. One I probably wouldn't want to pay.

Before "the news" I was hoping Collins fell to us in the first...after the news everyone was blasting me (and I think Drugbust) for wanting him later in the draft. Good thing we drafted Kennard Backman!

Yeah, I mean him threatening to not sign with any team that drafted him after the first round was probably the reason.

I thought the threat was after the 3rd round and once I heard that I said well get him in the 3rd round. Either way people on here told me I was crazy for wanting him. Either way I would have drafted him in the 7th and called his bluff. I said innocent until proven guilty and the risk is worth the reward.

I feel the same way with some of the injured players this year.

Yeah, I really didn't see the downside drafting him 6th-7th round. Offer him a big signing bonus and see if he really passes up becoming instantly rich to sit out a year. I say its at worst a 50/50 shot. I mean we drafted Ropkowski, Ringo, and Backman in the 6th round. None of those guys had even a 20% of eventually becoming a starter. Give me a game of chicken with Collins any day. It was pretty clear by day three he wasn't an actual suspect.

Right now I am really hoping Cash drops to use in the 4th. He is a hard hitting safety from Duke who looks to be a hybrid safety/linebacker who would be perfect in Dime situations. The exact type of player we need but my guess is he doesn't drop or Ted doesn't take him. Also really wish we had taken the risk on Jack. He is a day one starter in my book who could've helped us get over the hump. Trust Ted but man does he drive me crazy now and then.
Bucks fandom bringing me happiness still seems like a dream.
