Round 2 - Jason Spriggs - OT

He probably doesn't play this season, but definitely an athlete worth developing.

Never seen him play before tonight, we sure as hell need the depth though. I can't handle watching Barclay or Josh Walker attempt to play LT again.

Great pick! Love having a real backup tackle and a guy who should start in 2017 after they lose a guy or two next spring.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

Happy with the pick, not happy we traded up.

Like he can replace Bahk if necessary next year, but not strong or big enough to replace a guard.

I think we had to move to get him. Sooner or later a tackle was going to be selected in the 2nd round and Ted made sure we got the best (projected) olineman outside of the 1st round.

Great pickup. Nobody has to worry about Barclay again

Twitter is saying the Bears wanted Spriggs at 49 so we jumped them. I like that.

I'm going to assume we stole Chicagos guy. We jumped ahead of them and they traded out after we selected. Maybe I'm a conspiracy theorist..

He likely plays season with injuries and all. Can't have enough of these guys. Hopefully pans out.

They were talking on the score about two players the Bears really wanted: Ezekial Elliot and Jason Spriggs

If we just jumped in front of the Bears and took the player they wanted forcing them to trade down, I will love it even more.

In a perfect world never plays this year, as I see no way he beats Bakhtiari outright barring injuries, but this allows us alot of flexibility going forward next year when our entire Oline is up for grabs

Spriggs is the excitement pick for me so far. Dude is crazy athletic and a mega worker. Bucky Brooks had him neck and neck with Tunsil for LT. Crazy upside..
