I think once Perry and Goodson were picked that probably left Kwiatkowski as the only ILB in the class they liked

Ehh I don't think that makes much of a difference for the typ of routes we'd use him for

Hopefully his speed is enough to keep him from getting killed in the bump & run

The 6-0, 199-pound hard-hitting Bush, 22, finished his final season at Miami with 50 tackles, a sack, two fumble recoveries, six pass breakups and an interception. But it wasn’t considered his best, and his upside is believed to be substantial.

A high-character young man, Bush has helped his father fight through liver cancer while doing extensive community service. This past season he was one of 22 college players nationally chosen for the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team, one of the most significant off-the-field honors in college football.

“When I read his résumé, it was eye-popping, incredible,” ESPN analyst Jesse Palmer said.

Fellow ESPN analyst Todd McShay lauded Bush’s talent after he was drafted.

“It’s really evident on tape,” McShay said. “He has size, athleticism. He’s got the skill set to develop into an interchangeable starting safety if he’s able to regain focus and if Chicago can bring out the most in him.”

I'm enthused on Bush a little, as his mean streak and good character is evident the more I see.

Interesting.

The more I read about Cook, the more I was glad the Bears didn't get him. Seemed like he really rubs guys the wrong way, which is evident why he wasn't selected as a captain on his team.

Now that it's all said and done, I'm pretty happy with our day 3 haul. Kwiatkoski seems like a really tough, hard worker on ST and a future ILB starter. We also landed one of the best RB's in the draft who will possibly beat out Langford as a starter, and three DB's. I like that we got a safety (Bush), a couple of guys who can play both safety and CB (Hall and Houston-Carson).

I don't know anything about Braverman other than he's quick and tough for his size, which he'll need to be at NFL level.

Kinda reminds me of Earl Thomas. He seems to have a nose for the ball and hits you will all he's got. He's going to have to learn to wrap up more consistently because all the shoulder tackling won't do him any good against guys like AP.

I think our safeties are looking good.

Amos, Jones-Quartey, Bush, Houston-Carson, Prosinski, Bolden... There's no shortage of options at safety, and they're all very young with talent and the time to develop.

Plus, a good portion of his hitting style is probably illegal in the NFL

Every elite player I'm the NFL does tons of illegal stuff. It's not flagged because they do it on almost every down
