Wow, he's got great pursuit speed for ostensibly a 5 tech but crazy short arms. I am trying to imagine my arms being 31 inches long and it is making me smile.

If Lowry can bring some of this to the pro game, it can't be over-emphasized. I remember Jolly knocking down a ton of balls the year before he got sent to the pen. It was a huge boon to the defense.

Yep, it's huge. It's almost as good as a sack. 17 in 4 years of starting isn't an enormous amount but it's a nice bonus if, as you say, it translates.
