After the Arsenal slip-up:

3pts is the magic number for Man City
3pts for Arsenal
8pts for Tottenham.

Which in theory means Leicester could be champions next week with a win over Swansea although that would mean that Spurs have to lose against both Stoke and West Brom.

edit: Spurs don't play West Brom until Monday so obviously we couldn't be champions with a win against Swansea. :banghead:

2nd edit: As a balance statement after Leicester's inability to beat West Ham, Spurs could become Champions at their game against Southampton.

Will be interesting to see if Mahrez, Kante and Vardy will be playing for Leicester City next season.

Yeah.

We've made it clear that we want them next season. Thanks to the new "equality" in the Prem we don't need to sell them to stay alive but we've also said that we don't want any unhappy players or players who wish to be elsewhere.

So it's down to them.

I don't think wages will be a problem, so I only see them going to teams that are in the CL and are a step up from us.

Vardy I've little doubt will stay in Leicester. There is no team that uses or values his talents as highly as we do.

Mahrez has recently married a Leicester lady and has been here and progressed here but if Real or Barca or the like came in for him I think he could go. Not sure he'd go to another Prem team though. If you ask most of the posters on this forum Mahrez isn't good enough to be wanted by the teams he'd like to play for. We'll have to wait and see.

Kanté is another question. He's only been here a season and his English is not so good so he hasn't been able to assimulate fully into the Leicester life. We'll offer him a big wage rise and I hope he stays - for me he's our player of the season - he's unique and the best at what he does in the world. Riyad is his best friend because of the language barrier so maybe his decision will play a part too.

I think Mahrez wins player of the season for the Prem this year but surprisingly he is the easiest to replace as we have another young talent Demarai Gray who could prove to be great and slip into his wing spot.

If I owned another team I wouldn't be looking as much to poach a Leicester player as I would to poach our scouting unit and particularly Steve Walsh. He has made some outstanding finds in the last few years.

Are you asking because of the Arsenal Rumours?

They've been going all season long haven't they?

I don't really see why Mahrez would go to Arsenal. The big positive is the goodwill that Arsenal have in France and so Mahrez and Kanté will have grown up "liking" Arsenal and Wenger. The other positive for Kanté is the language I guess and of course Arsenal is in London not in the East Midlands

The negatives must be the concern that Wenger isn't going to be there much longer and the thought that guaranteed 3rd/4th and early CL exit might be in jeopardy during the changeover and the poor track record that Arsenal have with young talented wingers. Are Ox and Theo being moved out?

I like Arsenal but they certainly seem to have a problem with either training, their medical staff or the pitch as they have consistently an unusually high percentage of injuries.

Sure they could go to Arsenal but I don't really feel it.

No. I was just curious. They are not coming to Arsenal. Signing someone like Mahrez or Kante would make too much sense.

:D

I really hope no-one signs Kanté.

I did see an article saying that Zidane was insisting that his owner buy Kanté. The price 25m! If he goes I'd like to think that the market price will push much higher. 25m is a steal.

0 idea how this has happened, but big ups to Leicester. They play to win matches instead of the Man City way - blow em the **** out or lose miserably and pay big money to do it. Probably the most incredible title run I have seen in any sport in my lifetime. Honestly, right up there with Greece winning euros.

Whatever the finish is, congrats on the run.

I reckon we get a point at United but I can see Chelsea getting something against Spurs. If that's how the 2 games work out then the title is ours.

Sadly Jamie won't be able to hound the Man chester back line.

Fuchs hasn't scored yet this season I think he'll bag 1 here in a 2:2.

btw Fuchs has been awesome this season - I might have to cheer on Austria as my no.2 team in the Euros.

Well we got the draw that I expected, shame that Drinky will now be suspended.

So a Spurs draw or loss at Chelsea and it's all over. Come on you blues!
