Everyone quit it, or if Hezonja based discussion is done then we can just lock the thread?

Can the thread be unlocked though when Mario starts playing for his national squad and actual conversations about him return?

Since the same handful of posters will start a multi-page argument on Mario's coach secretly trying to sabotage him, or on so-and-so teammate passing to him 2.7% less than to other teammates because he HATES Mario, the answer is probably no.

Seriously guys, if someone disagrees with you about Mario, that's one thing. If they still disagree after you've made your counterpoint - let it go. Stay on topic, and be respectful towards each other.

It would be very interesting if evan and mario both reach olympics with their national teams and play against each other. I think the board would go wiiiiild. :D

That would be something. I hope both of them get to start for their squads.

Both came of the bench in Eurobasket.

Evan won't be playing Olympic Qualifiers for France.

Mario is a starter for Croatia.

So I've been told by a friend from France. He said Gobert and Fournier won't play the qualifiers, only main Olympic tournament. He said it was in some French newspapers.

But it's not a disaster for France. Yes there's Canada, but France is still ahead of them with the likes of Batum, Diaw, Parker, Ajinca, Mahinmi, Lauvergne, De Colo and so on. I don't think Canada is ready yet to beat such a serious team that France really is.

I think we're going to be seriously impressed with Mario next year as he gains a bigger role in the offense.

(If we don't ship him away in a big trade!)

France will easily win their qualifying group. I've seen on this board that evan is in philippines, thought he came there because of qualifications, although it is little bit early. :D

Yeah I remember last summer Mario started a handful of games but thought it might've been because of Bogdanovic getting a head injury? Either way excited to see how much he's improved.

As I remember, he lost his place in starting five after game two on eurobasket, when we found out that he can't defend a chair. :D But he is different, much better player now than last summer.

I'm predicting a big off-season from Mario. Dude is a tireless worker and I have zero doubts he'll find time to improve his weaknessess even with his national squad obligations. Next year we're gonna see a different version of him and I may be hasty but I think he could legitimately compete for the starting spot by the second half of the season if he continues to improve at the good rate.

Like Nicholson and Fournier who got their feet wet in the NBA before playing for their national teams and both could make a case for most improved Magic players.

Mario could be the most improved Magic player next season.

This is pretty in line with your screen name because it is clear you spent very little time actually watching Mario play basketball.

Ive watched Mario play and he has been disappointing
