Re: PG: Wasted a Miracle
Dwyane 1, Dwane 0.
That was a terrible way to lose. Lowry was terrible (aside from the miracle heave, which was fun). DeRozan started well, but was not very good the rest of the way. Casey needs to stop trying to make these guys superstars because they clearly aren't. They are good players that think they're better than they are and it's hurting the team. Also, please stop running those end-of-quarter "plays" for DeMar; you aren't fooling anybody. Good to see JV and Ross have good offensive games.

There was so much time on the clock. He could have passed to a open JV then get right back instead of attacking the double team.
I like you.

The playoffs has really exposed that the offense needs to be completely re-structured

Re: PG: Wasted a Miracle
Miami looked like a composed, veteran team. I don't see how the Raptors can win more than two games without Lowry. DeMar and JV won't cut it against Miami.

Also... #TeamPositiveinShambles
I'll give credit to Casey for some of those out of timeout plays. Although, who knows who actually draws them up. I know Nick Nurse does a lot of the offensive play calling. Also, Winslow was completely idiotic in his defensive coverage on a few of those plays. No idea why he left Carroll like that.
But... I take most of the credit away with the fact that JV had it going and then he totally went away from him. I think he got only a handful of touches in the 2nd half. He was a big reason why we were leading at the half.
I'm hoping Ross has found some confidence. We need something from him. But we've seen games like this before from him, and then he's never heard from again.
Demar had a typical Demar Game. 22 points on 22 shots. All volume and no substance. He also choked on some free throws that probably could of won the game for us. Then... the turnover to seal the deal.

Casey isn't throwing awful passes and missing good looks.
No, he just has his team playing an offense that has no structure.
When the defense gets tough, the Raptors have nothing to rely on.
We shot 5/21 on threes which is baaaad and actually went 35/68 on 2's which isn't really that bad. Start of OT, Miami goes Iso and hits 3 pretty tough shots, we miss similar shots. Once our offense clicks even somewhat we will be golden. Even tonight with our offense looking bad we nearly snuck away a win.

Re: PG: Wasted a Miracle
We need Lowry. Plain and simple. What did he have? 7 points? That isn't going to cut it. Did he even touch the ball in O/T?

It's really amusing to see the TNT guys trying to figure out how this team won 56 games. I thought Barry was gonna start puking in the 3rd with the way he was criticizing the team (rightfully so btw).

I remember he had a stretch during the regular season where he was shooting well. I think we should only use it when we're really desperate and have no answer on defense

S/O to Bruno for the Sig and Avi

KL ties the game and he doesn't shoot until there is less than 2mins in overtime.
