Besides a high screen and roll we have nothing, nothing at all.
To be honest we should run a princeton offence. At least that way we can still come to a happy medium with our defensive tempo.

Re: PG: Wasted a Miracle
No more CoJo or Ross with Wade, put Powell out there +30minpg if you need too, but you cant let him move freely like that, same with Valanciunas, I get that he had a fine offensive game but he was putrid on the other side, he has no idea of how to defend the PNR and he neither flashes or stay put, he makes a weird move/fake to the middle that makes it impossible for him to recover and neither can he bother the shooter, he is so damn slow.
Biyombo hasnt had much impact but at least he can be more versatile there.
The Raps need Lowry in the game even at this level, his playmaking is miles better than the next guy up, and you need his brains and defense, other than helping off Dragic stupidly at the end, he has been solid against Goran.
And just try Delon Wright man, they need to find a better way to use PatPat, he cant be the guy that has to defend Joe when the Heat go small, has struggled there.

Hack a 65% FT shooter? I don't even think Casey is dumb enough to try that.

Only team in NBA history who would lose in OT after such an epic buzzer beater.

Amazing people think its coaching. COACHING is what is keeping us in these games and in the playoffs.
DD has played average at best. Lowry over the past 5 games is LITERALLY at D-Level. You could get the same production from the worst PG in this league. That is how bad he is. When your best player is playing at D-level, it is amazing we had a chance to win this game.

Casey is likely to be given a new contract after the playoffs.

Re: PG: Wasted a Miracle
Serious question since I don't remember at all. Did Casey take advantage of the refs looking over that final out of bounds call to draw up a play?

Is it me or do you guys notice that Lowry isn't really attacking the paint as he should be?

Our offensive game sucks balls.
It is too slow like it is dumbed down for rookies.

Re: PG: Wasted a Miracle
In 1970 Jerry West hit a shot from well behind midcourt to send game 5 of the finals into OT, but the Knicks won that OT game.
Raptors just cannot execute or run an offense well, it's frustrating to watch.

There goes my hero. Watch him as he goes.

Whiteside isn't that bad at FT. Possessions usually avg 1 pt per right? So you're essentially giving them free points.

ruckus wrote:We need Lowry. Plain and simple. What did he have? 7 points? That isn't going to cut it. Did he even touch the ball in O/T?
do you think he deserved the ball in OT?
Why cause he hit a fluke 3? he was throwing brutal turnovers all night - in transition on 3 on 1s, in the half court, he was throwing up 3 pointers in transition, early in the clock, with no chance of the ball going in
wow

Re: Should Casey Have Went To Hack-A-Whiteside Earlier In The Game
Whiteside actually improved very much in FT% during the season the 65% is lower than what he was shooting since the second half of the season. The trick was his tippie toe shooting.

This is considered baiting. This is your only warning.
EDIT: Wait...how many warnings do you already have against your record? Wow.
