Fischella wrote:No more CoJo or Ross with Wade, put Powell out there +30minpg if you need too, but you cant let him move freely like that, same with Valanciunas, I get that he had a fine offensive game but he was putrid on the other side, he has no idea of how to defend the PNR and he neither flashes or stay put, he makes a weird move/fake to the middle that makes it impossible for him to recover and neither can he bother the shooter, he is so damn slow.

Biyombo hasnt had much impact but at least he can be more versatile there.
The Raps need Lowry in the game even at this level, his playmaking is miles better than the next guy up, and you need his brains and defense, other than helping off Dragic stupidly at the end, he has been solid against Goran.

And just try Delon Wright man, they need to find a better way to use PatPat, he cant be the guy that has to defend Joe when the Heat go small, has struggled there.

What? Biyombo was terrible tonight and Val carried us..

As a seasoned Raptors fan, that outcome wasn't even surprising smh, we've all seen that so many times.

Demar went full Kobe again but what can you do when Skinny Lowry is a **** ghost out there smh

This was such a winnable game, they practically gave it to the Heat.

On to the next one smh....

Casey is likely to be given a new contract after the playoffs.

The play was the classic "Demar ball off his foot" play. Unfortunately for the Raptors its always executed perfectly.

We didnt deserve to win that game plain and simple. You can see talent wise we are superior to miami, however we played with NO heart tonight. Miami basically gave us soo many chances and we still couldn't take the game. Derozan Val DMC and TRoss were the only confident players out there. Kyle has lost all of his confidence. Like all of it. He's short on every shot, deferring open looks and just making stupid careless turnovers. He's trying to make sure he doesnt make mistakes and hurt his team by missing shots but thats exactly whats making him useless on the floor. Regardless if derozan is shooting everything he gets, at least he's being aggressive. Lowry is a superstar when he's on, and he's supposed to be a bulldog. He needs to regain that mentality. Bulldogs go down fighting. It's like he's too scared of his own shot. SHOOT THE DAMN BALL. It'll come.

We are the most unfortunate NBA team with a couple of chokers as our team leaders. It's mind- **** -boggling.

It was pretty well defended. Besides Carroll was wide open - Demar just didn't pass to him.

what passes and good looks? The 4th Q was contested shot after contested shot

Well we scored 27 points in that quarter and shot the exact same percentage as Miami throughout the game. Miami shoots 73% from 3 and we shoot 24%. That's your ball game right there. Lowry (like all playoffs) is missing wide open threes like there's no tomorrow. Patterson missed threes he usually hits. Just like the pacers series when they shot god numbers from 3, it isn't sustainable and it proved to be that way st the end of the series.

Another positive? That was Lowrys worst game of the entire playoffs and that's a special low to hit.

When Val wasn't on the court tonight we got anihalated, biz played terrible.

Props to Miami, in OT they hit some really really tough shots.

and we didn't hit tough shots? Most of DD's shots were tough shots. The Lowry half court shot, Ross FT, Ross 3 all came with 6.5 seconds left to go. That's 7 points right there and you're crediting a miracle final few seconds in saying that our offense was fine..yet that offense carried over into OT where we needed another almost miracle run at the last second to put up points

Lowry shouldn't even be on the court at this point

btw..how many shots did Carroll take in the 4th?

It is free-flow ISO amateur offense, cannot restructure something that has no structure to start with...

Our offense is pretty much the same as the Spurs. Alot of off-ball screen and ball-screens. The difference is when our players catch the ball after an off-ball screen they don't attack-they back up and isolate. Casey's offense is fine, it's just our players refuse to utilize it.
