DD, KL and coach need to go

the further we get in the playoffs (even with DD/KL playing terribly), I think the more complicated it all gets for Masai to justify making big changes. A first round exit would have probably led to some major changes to our core. Now ... who knows.

At this point, the season as a whole will be considered a success even if we get swept since we made it out of the first round. Masai and Dwane can speak in glowing terms about heart, grit, players playing banged up and other non-quantifiable terms (completely glossing over the major issues we're seeing on offense) and still point to our record and post-season record as a positive thing no matter what happens (throw in some buzz about how Norman being a steal for us plus the incoming lotto pick for good measure).

Casey and DeMar get re-upped, we make our lotto selection, fire assistants/hire assistants, maybe make a deal or two to open up some cap flexibility (possibly in attempt to re-up Biz) and sign some value guys to cheap deals to round our bench.

Rinse, repeat.

Disappointed we lost.

Really disappointed in the pathetic offense and Lowry's play.

Still, I couldn't help but find it amusing when Derozan dribbled it off his foot. It is such a Raptors way to lose the game and really shouldn't be a surprise to any of us.

Tough loss to say the least. Saw enough good things that I'm not afraid of Miami exactly. Concerned maybe, but not afraid. I like us to bounce back in Gm 2 - Game 1's just aren't our style - and I still like Raps in 7.

I'm just at a loss for words in regards to what happened to the offence in the 2nd half. We were moving the ball so well in the first and then it just goes to complete **** in the 2nd.

We need to get a consultation session with Mike D'antoni.

We need to find that guy asap.

Stupidity.

We'd be lost without his 3 of 13 shooting, 1 of 7 from 3, his 6 assists and 3 turnovers and his lockdown defense on Dragic.

Yet he still managed the 2nd highest ORTG and best DRTG.

Funny

You can quote all the advanced stats you want, like posters have been posting for the past three years, calling this team elite and contenders. Doesn't change reality that this team and system is fundamentally flawed and we're going absolutely nowhere as constructed and ran.

I don't know how many years it's going to take for some of you to realize this, I thought 3 was enough, but apparently not.

This has been a slow and painful experience. It's time to start fresh, new coach and new players to carry the torch. Jamal Murray please!

Richardson is surrounded by studs, is easy to look good when you play with other great players!

It's hard just to face with the embarrassment Norman has to deal with

I don't buy that at all.Their team is a pale shade of what it once was. JJ was bought out this year, Haslem is a corpse, Amare as well. Wade is healthy now but law of averages will catch up as they always do with him. This team is Brooklyn of two years ago and coasting on their Lebron glory towards an inevitable rebuild like LA.

That was an awesome game. We cant win the series if kyle continues his shooting woes, but our heart and hustle is real. Spo got out coached in the final minutes of the game and our guys showed lots of grit to make a game of it when all was lost. Lets hope kyles miracle shot rubs off and gets his shot falling again.

If your guys refuse to listen, you're the coach, sit them.

Either way you shouldn't be a coach if the players don't follow a system or if you don't have one. Both are terrible.

I like Casey but I can't help but feeling that he's our Mark Jackson. I don't know if there's another Steve Kerr out there though.

Casey has nothing to do with Kyle missing every shot he throws up, or the lack of focus when making passes.

He has absolutely everything to do with our offense consisting of Demar jacking up bad shots.

We're not in that situation if kyle makes shots with confidence. 6 point deficit. 1/3rd of the miss shots fall and we're not in that situation. So yeah lets not put blame where blame isn't due.

I'm going to look at this game the glass half full. Miami needed Wade Dragic Johnson to play really well to beat us by 6 when DD and KL played like kaka.

Man... there is such a stark difference in the way Spoelstra sounds than Casey. I know this is coming from the coach who just won the game but he just seems to be able to evaluate the game so much better. He doesn't just say "he'll have to look at film". Plus, he even starts the presser by taking the blame for the way regulation ended because of some of the plays he called. Something that I don't think I've ever heard Casey say. Most of the time, it's just him saying guys missed their shots or blaming someone for missing coverage.
