Honestly if we lose this series im not even mad. As long as casey and our roster flaws get exposed on the way out. Miami is probably the only team that can give cleveland a hard time too. I'm just going to enjoy however many games we have left it was a cool season

Times like that I'd like to see JV out there with the second unit and have the offense run through him.

The only problem is.. does getting past the second round make Masai think everything's okay? That kiss to Casey concerns me.

I'm fully expecting casey to come back. I'm interested to see what he does with the roster though

If we keep casey, we will be the new atlanta hawks. Irrelevant first/second round exit year in year out

Carroll does not look like an elite defender out there. And it's become more and more clear the more you see him play.

I'm so happy our joke offense is getting called out hard by national media. Half time Kenny goes off, all game Barry is questioning wtf we're doing. Our struggles against the Pacers constantly mentioned. They put up Lowry and Demar's charts up showing their historically bad shooting. Slim chance Masai gets off his ass and gets rid of the Choke Bros and Casey.

I do not post much but I have grown frustrated with the end of quarters play with the Demar Derozan iso!

Tonights game:

End of Q1 - 0:01 MISS DeRozan 18' Pullup Jump Shot
End of Q3 - 0:01 MISS DeRozan 19' Pullup Jump Shot
End of OT - 0:04 DeRozan Lost Ball Turnover (P2.T15)

(there has been countless times in other games when the same sequence of events have happened)

Stop giving the ball to Demar at the end of Quarters!

Every game whenever we have the ball with time winding down at the end of the quarter, our PG would always try to set a screen at the top of the 3pt line hoping his defender would switch onto Demar when he has the ball. Our 3 other players are spread out and not providing any off-ball movements. Why does our coaches insist on running this play over and over again when it has never been successful (I don't remember the last time we got a point from this play)? It's the definition of insanity when you do something over and over again expecting a different result!

Is this an ego thing? or a coaching flaw?

Our "star" player is very flawed, he does not have the natural handles nor the long shooting range that a typical "star" player is required in today's NBA. You might say, well D.Wade doesn't shoot the 3, but he has elite quickness, smarts and ball handling. I rather have a SG who can at least shoot the 3 consistently and spread the floor ala Klay Thompson.

I am not sure if we will ever be successful beyond the first round with our "star" player who can't shoot with range and is a below average defender.

UneducatedFan86 wrote:Man... there is such a stark difference in the way Spoelstra sounds than Casey. I know this is coming from the coach who just won the game but he just seems to be able to evaluate the game so much better. He doesn't just say "he'll have to look at film". Plus, he even starts the presser by taking the blame for the way regulation ended because of some of the plays he called. Something that I don't think I've ever heard Casey say. Most of the time, it's just him saying guys missed their shots or blaming someone for missing coverage.

Again, we just need to rebound the ball and execute better on offense.

Again, I think this guy provided this and that guy provided that.

Again, we're not going to shoot 20% all series.
