Congrats HIF & other fans. Enjoyed reading through this thread that dated back to last season.

Now your Miami Heat will lose to my Raptors. Can't have it all

Thanks everyone.

I still can't believe it.

We're Leicester City not some big club.

The team played for each other, attacked and defended as a team.

Claudio's influence cannot be underestimated.

I'm going for a long walk along the beach to let it settle in again.

Happy for Claudio Ranieri. Criminally underrated manager.

not sure what your beef is. You are quoting a post from August 2015.

Leicester's goal at the start of the season was to not get relegated...like I said, he overachieves with teams expected to finish bottom half. There is a reason he was not even the first coach on LC's list.
That I said he seemed to be a poor motivator has me laughing at the moment, but this is based on the fact that his teams were often painfully boring to watch despite having pretty good players at his disposal: Juve, Roma, Inter, Monaco...before LC he coached Greece and lost to Faroe Islands twice, finishing last place in their qualifying group......

Most people in the UK questioned the choice of Ranieri too.

It's easy to laugh after the fact but no-one, I repeat no-one, expected us to finish in the top 6 let alone first.

In hindsight Ranieri has been a godsend. He seems such a nice and humble man too.

He is not a poor motivator, he has problem coaching big egos...

so he is a poor motivator when it comes to motivating players with big egos. This is why he is Ranieri and not Ancelotti

So Leicester owner won 3 mil. € in a Casino? Anything this man touches these days seems to turn into gold.
