Looks like my prediction of the series lasting less then 6 games is coming to fruition. People shouldn't get lulled in by this team. Second straight season where the caps were a mediocre 5v5 team, and what do you know, it shows in the playoffs. A president's trophy is irrelevant.

As someone who's relatively new to the sport--dude didn't stand out to me at all.

One guy who stood out was Malkin--he seemed really good with the puck and always had great angles on shots.

The fact that we are getting shut down by a 20 year old goalie is a #soDCsports thing. I'm sure he'll turn into a pumpkin the next series.

Of course you have a good feeling about tonight. Because it is so DC sports to come back from a 3-1 deficit, force a Game 7 on home ice and then give up a series winning goal to the biggest wuss playing the sport in Cindy Crosby who plays for your hated rival...I'm so nervous.....it's genetic at this point. :banghead:

It's pretty much over. NHL scheduling is so archaic. Who even is going to watch the conference finals? Pittsburgh might as well sweep tampa bay, they have no business being there.

dont understand hockey I guess

it just seems like the penguins are always moving hard, trying to hit us, being aggressive and it seems like the caps just pass into traffic for no reason rather than focusing on possessing the puck, don't seem to run into the other guys often

idk, just a very casual watcher and our guys dont really look like they play hard

Caps were worn out. No Alzner and too many top line guys with too much ice time trying to get back in the game.
