If Curry is truly absent and unable to play this postseason then it really does create a ton of uncertainty.
The playoffs are a different animal. People are quick to forget how the Cavs pushed the Warriors to 6 games without Irving or Love last year. People are quick to forget how the Spurs were a first round exit.
You just never know who will get hot. When it comes to (HEALTHY!) teams like the Warriors, Spurs, Thunder and Cavs... everyone CAN be everyone... but who will?
This is not march madness.... The best team almost always wins. Whether a team is "hot" or not may help them win a series but in the 7 game format the nba playoffs always is decided by the best team.

Who the best team is is often a matter of opinion. So making a general statement that the best team always wins can only be true in hindsight. Since we are speaking today, in the middle of just the first round we don't have that luxury.
GS, SA, Cle, OKC... Anyone from this list can win the title and I would not be surprised with the result.
