Do you think we should hold onto Derozan by any means?

Raptors offenses under Casey:

100.8 points per 100 possessions - 29th / 30
105.9 points per 100 possessions - 13th / 30
108.8 points per 100 possessions - 10th / 30
111.0 points per 100 possessions - 4th / 30
110.0 points per 100 possessions - 5th / 30

All with Demar Derozan, who you seemingly hate as an offensive weapon, by the way. What you might find shocking is how effective Casey's 'terrible' offense actually is.

what worked in the regular season is obviously not working in the playoffs posting historically low numbers for our best two players.

it's casey's job to adjust to the tightened playoffs defense, yet it's the third year in a row and they're not even breaking the 40% fg barrier. no doubt this has been the best regular season in raptors history, but it's deceitful to rely on these stars in the playoffs as long as casey can't figure out the adjustments he has to make for lowry and derozan or figure out how to involve the other players offensively more.

this is the next step they have to make, i'm just trying to look forward, unless you're happy with a first round series win and want to call it a night.

Yes, the offense essentially collapsed when Kyle Lowry stopped being able to shoot. That said, I believe the Raps are generating more open looks now than when they did in the regular season (although VVV can correct me on that if I am wrong). They are just missing those shots. That is an execution problem, not an offensive system problem.

Shocked? Why? First post without the need for spell check?

Yes they should resign DD, but unless you are a complete idiot, not by any means.

THANK YOU!

We know that Casey is not the best tactician on offense, but we're getting GREAT looks so far. Even in Game 1, there were a lot of open shots missed.

So far in playoffs:
Defender 4-6 feet away on 3 pointers (open):
3.5/12.4 - 28.3%

Defender 6+ feet away on 3 pointers (wide open):
2.3/7.0 - 32.1

Total:
5.8/19.4 - 29.9%

All stats above are per-game averages. We get almost 20 open 3s a game, which is ridiculous.

The Raptors are shooting just under 30% as a team on open 3PT shots per game, and we are getting a LOT of OPEN looks (19-20 a game on 3). We are doing an amazing job of getting guys open, we're just not hitting anything. This is not Casey's fault.

Appreciate the factual information that does not support his silly hyperbolic post prior.
