First non-Spanish team to knock a Spanish team out. Well, barring a total implosion, which I don't see happening.

Looks like Liverpool vs. Sevilla in the final.

Great performance by Liverpool against a good side, did themselves and English football proud.

Sevilla will be difficult to beat, they're insanely good in this competition. I think the scouse can do it, though.

Don't really want Pool fans to get the feeling of CL play when they are 8th in the table atm, but I hope for a competitive game.

Good question. With the way things are going, I honestly expect to finish/challenge for top 4 next season & possibly challenge for the title. Leicester is likely to drop off somewhat. Spurs & City would be my favorites next year. Arsenal is Arsenal. Top 4 is very much attainable.

Think they were 9th when he took over, they're 8th now. Don't have the exact points tally but it's probably about 6th/7th.

You were right, when you made the case that Pool was a year behind Spurs in challenging. Spot on.

They've lost too many silly points tbf mainly because of Mignolet.

The game at Saints when they lost 3-2 after being up. Against Newcastle 2-0 to 2-2. And against Sunderland again 2-0 to 2-2 when that pedophile scored.

Had they gotten those 7 dropped points they would very much be challenging for the top 4. Which is the maximum he could after coming in during the middle of the season.

I hope Liverpool wins now.

End with the "Sevilla Cup" please.

Liverpool has really struggled against bad teams that sit back and don't play into their hands of pressing.

I'm really looking forward to this UEL final vs Liverpool. We have been playing great in this competition for three straight years, it will be a very tough challenge to 3-peat. Sevilla, in the Spanish La Liga, has really struggled on the road while at home they have been nearly unbeatable (last games don't count since we have been resting our top players for weeks). It should be a heck of a match between two strong sides.

Good to see a Sevilla fan here. I visited the south west of Spain in 2010, all of those Andalusian towns and cities are gorgeous.

I'm looking forward to the match as well. Sevilla are the masters of this tournament but I can see Liverpool giving you some trouble, certainly more than Dnipro did. Both teams have shipped 50 goals in the league so I expect it to be a fairly open affair, rather than a tense final (despite the CL stakes). Liverpool prefer to dictate the pace whereas I think Sevilla will be more happy to absorb pressure and hit on the break, not to say that you'll sit back, but sometimes Liverpool look bereft of ideas when they can't run through teams and I think Emery will be aware of this. Still, I have to give the edge to Liverpool in this one as their end of season form has been mostly excellent, but I think it largely hinges on Coutinho and Firmino's performances.

Dnipro did well in the final last year. Did it not finish 3-2 or something like that?

True fact mate, but you didn't mention Sevilla FC is the more experienced team, we have been playing these matches for years, we're certainly battle-tested while current Liverpool squad is not. Therefore, that's an important edge for us, but as you said before it will be a very competitive match between two very good sides. Anything can happen in 90 minutes. I hope we all enjoy a fantastic game tomorrow.

Yes, we had to come back from a 0-1 deficit. We dominated that game from the beginning until the end but Dnipro put up a good fight though.

Imagine thinking Kolo isn't scoring one off his fat arse in the 93rd minute
